該オイル溜り部と連通ずる広がり部が設けられており、
該オイル溜り部にはバッフルプレートが取り付けられて
おり、該バッフルプレートは、屋根部と左側壁部と右側
壁部とから構成されており、これら屋根部と左側壁部と
右側壁一部とは連続しており、それによって前記バッフ
ルプレートはオイルパンの長手力向と直角な断面につい
てコの字形断面を呈しており、′前記左側壁部と前記右
側壁部とはそれぞれ左右の広がり部と前記オイ″ル溜り
部との境目あたりに配置されており、前記屋根部は前記
オイル溜り部の上方に配置されており、且つ、前記屋根
部はオイルパンの前， 側壁及びオイルパン後部の底壁
に当接されており、前記バッフルプレート全体は一体の
金属板で出来ていることを特徴とするエンジンのオイル
