必要とされることに着目し、鋭意研究を重ねた結
果ロツク爪自体に上記の相反する性質を同時に求
めることから脱脚して、剛質ではあるが比較的低
剛性のロツク爪をゴム等の弾性体で保持すること
によりロツク爪と弾性体とで必要な剛性を確保
し、かつロツク爪の動きについては柔軟性を確保
して所期の目的を達成するに至つた。

内に挿入したホースの抜き出しを阻止するように
起立してホース外壁にくい込む複数個のロツク爪
を有する係止体が配置され、これら係止体のロツ
ク爪をロツクの解除方向に押し倒す開放手段を有
するホース継手において、前記係止体を、前記継
手本体内に嵌合するリング部と、該リング部端面
からフツク状に先端がリング部内方へ向うよう延
設された前記複数個のロツク爪とで構成し、これ
ら複数個のロツク爪先端部で形成される円弧の径
を挿入接続されるべきホースの外径よりも若干小
径となるように設定し、一方、ホース外径よりも
若干大径な内径を有するとともに一端がスリツパ
状のテーパー面に形成されたほぼ円筒状の弾性体
スリーブを設け、該弾性体スリーブを、弾性体ス
リーブのテーパー面が前記ロツク爪に当接してロ
ツク爪を起立方向に弾床するように前記継手本体
内に固定したところにある。
