Conductive pads made by impregnating and retaining hydrogel in bulky porous Chiaria are known, but due to the low cohesive force of the hydrogel, the gel remains on the body surface after use, and the pads have poor shape retention. The problem is that it takes a long time for recording to stabilize after power is applied.

In FIG. 2, 1 is a lead wire, 3 is an adhesive crosslinked hydrogel pad, and 5 is a thin net-like metal fiber cloth interposed inside the pad 3.
The terminal portion 5' protrudes from the end of the pad 3. In this example, the metal fiber cloth 5 also has the function of an electrode.

The hydrogel pad 3 is made of polyacrylic acid and/or a polyacrylate such as sodium polyacrylate, ammonium polyacrylate, potassium polyacrylate, etc., water, tricridyl isocyanate, polyethylene glycol diglycidyl ether, ethylene glycol, etc. diglycidyl ether, glycerin diglycidyl ether,
A compound having at least two epoxy groups in the molecule as a crosslinking component such as triglycerin diglycidyl ether, and tackifying agents such as glycerin, propylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, triethylene glycate, and polyethylene glycol. Consists of an adhesive cross-linked hydrogel containing polyhydric alcohol as an essential ingredient, as well as other compounds such as electrolytes such as sodium chloride and potassium chloride, a PH adjuster, and a flexibility imparting agent. .

The gel has good adhesion due to the polyhydric alcohol content, and is crosslinked using a compound having at least two epoxy groups in the molecule as a crosslinking component of polyacrylic acid and/or its salt. It has excellent cohesive force and has good electrical conductivity because it contains water to form an electrolytic phase.

The adhesive pad for electrodes of the present invention uses an adhesive cross-linked hydrogel having the above-mentioned characteristics, and also has a thin net-like fiber cloth fixed (not shown) or interposed therein, so the gel has excellent shape retention and is immediately accurate after energization. It is characterized by the ability to obtain accurate records. Furthermore, since the gel has a large cohesive force, no residual gel remains on the body surface after use.

When a metal fiber cloth is used as the thin net-like fiber cloth, the cloth can be used as an electrode as shown in Fig. 2, so the overall cost is low. If left in place, it will serve as a grip when peeling off, so it has the advantage of being easy to remove after use.
