Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance while retaining flame resistance, by adding a phosphate ester to an amino resin molding material obtd. by adding reinforcing agent, filler, curing agent, parting agent, colorant, etc. to an amino resin. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing agent (e.g. woodmeal), a filler (e.g. calcium carbonate), a curing agent (e.g. hexamethylenetetramine), a parting agent (e.g. stearic acid), a colorant, etc. are added to an amino resin such as urea resin, melamine resin or guanamine resin. Further, a phosphate ester is added thereto to obtain the desired amino resin molding material. Examples of the phosphates are tricresyl phosphate and conventional phosphates. The phosphate is used in a quantity of 0.1-3pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. amino resin.
