て、扱室を形成する後側板及びその支持構造を改

になされている。然して上記扱室後側板における
排藁搬出口は該側板のフイードチエーン側の側辺
からU字状に切り込むことにより形成されるのが
通例であるが、このような形状にあつては、特に
排藁が長い場合に穂先側の端部が搬出口の奥部に
当つて円滑な排藁の流れが妨げられ、該奥部に詰
りを生じさせることになるのであり、また扱室の
下方に配備される揺動選別板を該後側板の下辺の
更に下方に位置させなければならないから、機体
の全高が高くなつてしまう欠点がある。そこで実
開昭55−37326号公報(第1,2図)に示されて
いるように、扱室後側板を排藁搬出口の上方部分
だけとし、排藁の出口を機体の全幅にわたつて開
口させることにより、上記搬出口奥部における詰
りを防止し、且つ揺動選別板を扱胴に接近せしめ
得るようにして機体の全高を低くするようにした
ものがあるが、この形式にあつては該後側板のフ
イードチエーン側の端部が機体の外側板から分離
されることになつて所謂片持ち状態となるのであ
り、そのため該後側板に後端を軸支される扱胴の
上下方向の位置が不安定となり、該扱胴と扱室底
面に張設される受網とのクリアランスが一定しな
いことにより、扱歯と受網が接触し或は扱残しを
