The gutter expansion device of the present invention has been devised to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages, and the present invention will be described below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a developed perspective view of the eaves gutter connection section 1, which has an opening at one end to which the eaves gutter a should be connected. Attach a water collection box 3 that communicates with the eaves gutter connection part 1 and has an open top surface to the other half that is opened,
A sliding groove 5 is fitted into the upper and lower ends of the inner wall 4 of the water collection box 3.
are arranged in parallel, an inlet 7 is bored between the fitting sliding grooves 5, and a packing material 9 is attached to the peripheral edge of the inlet 7, and a joint member A is similar to the joint member A. At one end of the eaves gutter connection section 1, which has an opening to which the eaves gutter should be connected, either the left or right half of the opening at the other end is closed off with a water stop plate 2, and the eaves gutter is connected to the other half that is opened. A water collecting box 3 communicating with the part 1 and having an open top surface is attached, and a fitting member A is fitted to the upper and lower ends of the inner wall 4 of the water collecting box 3 to fit and slide in the fitting sliding groove 5. It consists of a joint member B having sliding grooves 6 arranged in parallel and an inlet 8 smaller than the inlet 7 of the joint member A being bored between the fitting sliding grooves 6, and both joint members A , B as the eaves gutter connection part 1
This is a gutter expansion device in which the fitting and sliding grooves 5 and 6 are fitted so that they are located at both ends and are slidably connected.

The fitting sliding grooves 5 and 6 are formed with dovetail grooves or the like that fit and slide into each other, and the packing material 9 is formed on the peripheral edge of at least one of the inflow ports 7 and 8. .

As is clear from the above, the gutter expansion device of the present invention watertights either the left or right half of the opening at the other end of the eaves gutter connecting portion 1, which has an opening at one end to which the eaves gutter a should be connected. It consists of two joint members A and B, each of which is closed by a plate 2 and has a water collection box 3 attached to the other half which is open and communicates with the eaves gutter connection part 1 and whose top surface is open. Fitting sliding grooves 5 and 6 that fit and slide against each other are provided in parallel at the upper and lower ends of the inner wall 4 of the water box 3. Inlets 7 and 8 are bored, and both joint members A and B are connected to the peripheral edge of at least one of the inlets 7 and 8 with a packing material 9 interposed therebetween.
As shown in Figure 2, the eaves gutter expands and contracts due to changes in temperature because the fitting sliding grooves 5 and 6 are fitted to allow sliding movement. 6 is fitted into the joint members A and B, which are connected to each other by sliding, and rainwater flows out through the inlets 7 and 8 bored in the adjacent inner wall 4 and packs into the inlets 7 and 8. Since the material 9 is interposed, there is no leakage caused by the sliding of the joint members A and B, and the intended expansion function is fully exhibited.
