Claims

The inner volume can be changed by relatively sliding a U-turn part provided in the middle of the duct through which fluid flows, and an outer cylinder and a piston-shaped inner cylinder connected to this U-turn part. A variable resonator comprising a resonance chamber, and a controller that receives a rotation speed detection signal from an engine rotation speed sensor and a position detection signal from an inner cylinder position sensor, and issues a command to a step motor to move the inner cylinder.
