Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 1, wires 1a and 1b having a double fin structure with fins 4 and 5 are interwoven vertically and horizontally by applying a band-shaped coating 3 of synthetic resin to a wire 2. Drainage earth retaining materials made of crimped wire mesh are known. Such drainage earth retaining materials are superior in that they can prevent soil from flowing out and drain water well, but they also cause deformation of the fins 4 and 5 due to earth pressure, resulting in a decrease in drainage efficiency. It may come. That is, for example, when the fins are closely arranged in the horizontal filament 1b,
There is a gap between the upper and lower filaments 1b, 1b due to the phase shift of the crimp, but as the fins 4, 5 deform due to earth pressure, the gap tends to collapse and become narrower, reducing water drainage efficiency. I can't avoid it.

In order to prevent the deterioration of water drainage efficiency due to the narrowing of the gap mentioned above, it is sufficient to maintain a certain distance between the upper and lower filaments 1b, 1b, but when using the same crimp, the phase of the filaments is must be shifted 360 degrees at once, which would greatly disrupt the shielding rate.

In view of the above, the present invention aims to provide a water draining earth retaining material that can efficiently drain water and earth retaining even if the fins are deformed due to earth pressure.
It is characterized in that the horizontally wide filaments have a single fin structure with a fin section above a thick base section.

The wide filaments 11 arranged in the vertical direction are formed by covering the wire 13 with a band-like covering 14 of synthetic resin.
It has a well-known double fin structure with thin plate-like fins 14b, 14b on both sides of a thick base part 14a in which 3 is embedded, and the wide filaments 12 arranged in the horizontal direction are Wire 1 as well as the wide stripe 11 above
5 is coated with a band-shaped coating 16 of synthetic resin, and the thick base portion 16 in which the wire 15 is embedded is
It has a single fin structure in which a thin plate-like fin portion 16b is provided on only one side of a through a step portion 16c for engaging earth and sand, and the wide filament 12 has a fin portion 16b facing upward. Arranged. Therefore, a gap is formed between the upper and lower wide filaments 12, 12 due to the single fin structure even if they are arranged closely.

The above-mentioned drainage earth retaining material 10 may be stretched between shelf pillars erected at appropriate intervals on a slope or the like, or superimposed on the back side of a retaining wall 17 provided with drainage holes 18, as shown in FIG. , which allows moisture in the soil piled up on one side to be drained out through a mesh. In this case, the earth and sand are mainly engaged with and supported by the step portions 16c in the horizontal wide filaments 12, and
In addition, the earth pressure acting diagonally downward on the material 10 through the earth and sand is reliably received by the horizontal wide filaments 12.

The wide filaments 11 and 12 are not limited to the synthetic resin-coated filaments shown in the drawings, but may also be made of metal or synthetic resin.

According to the drainage earth retaining material of the present invention having the above configuration, the horizontal wide striations have a single fin structure, so that
Even when the upper and lower wide filaments are arranged closely, it is possible to form an appropriate drainage gap between the base end and the fin of both filaments, which prevents deformation of the fin due to earth pressure. Regardless of this, good water drainage can be carried out through the above-mentioned gap, and when the upper and lower wide filaments are arranged roughly, the earth pressure acting on the filaments is mainly absorbed by the thick base. Therefore, even if no fins are provided on the lower surface of the base, it is possible to reliably prevent earth and sand from flowing out through the mesh.
