The present invention relates to a temple for eyeglasses. The most preferred glasses these days are those with half-hook temples, but for children's and sports glasses, cable-type glasses, or glasses with curly temples, are preferred because they tend to fall off easily. It is rare.
Currently, the ear hooks of curly vines are known to have a metal core coated with vinyl chloride resin, silicone rubber, or the like, or those without a metal core and molded only from nylon resin. however,
The former coiled tendon has disadvantages in that it lacks elasticity and is uncomfortable to wear, and has a metal core, so it has poor bending fatigue resistance, is easily damaged, and has poor corrosion resistance. On the other hand, although the latter method has improved the drawbacks of the former, the nylon resin has poor restoring power and a somewhat hard surface, so the feeling of wearing is not satisfactory, and the bending fatigue resistance is not sufficient. It is hard to say that I am satisfied. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a coiled vine in which the remaining unsatisfactory points mentioned above are improved. In order to achieve this objective, the present inventor conducted various experiments in order to form the ear hooks of the vines with other resins instead of nylon resin, but the material for the vines was
No harm to the skin, no oral toxicity, chemical resistance, oil resistance, hair conditioner resistance, water resistance, sweat resistance, cold resistance, heat resistance, light resistance, weather resistance, injection moldability, stain resistance 100 to 100 because of its color, odorless nature, colorability, and the need to adjust it to fit the wearer's ears at an eyeglass store.
Because it is required to be able to soften and adjust its shape at an easily available and affordable temperature of 120℃, to have a good texture, and to withstand ultrasonic cleaning,
Finding new materials has always been difficult. However, after extensive research, we finally discovered that the recently developed polyester elastomer is the most suitable material for the ear hooks, and came up with the present invention. That is, the present invention provides a temple for glasses in which a metal connecting protrusion protruding from the support part of the temple of the glasses is inserted into a blind hole provided in the longitudinal direction of the ear hook part. To provide a winding vine characterized in that a hanging part is formed of a polyester elastomer defined below. The polyester elastomer featured in this invention has been developed recently and consists of polyester as a hard segment and polyether as a soft segment.

It has the physical properties shown in [Table]. Some of such polyester elastomers are already commercially available and can be easily obtained. For example, Dupont's product name Hytrel, Toyobo Co., Ltd.
The product name is Pelprene, and the product name is Arnitel from AKZO. Next, the present invention will be specifically explained with reference to drawings showing embodiments. Embodiment Figure 1 shows a metal support for the temple of glasses used in this embodiment, and Figure A is a plan view seen from above.
Figure (b) is a front view, and figure (c) is a sectional view taken along the line X-Y in figure (b). In Figures A and B, arrow A indicates the direction of the front frame of the glasses. Reference numeral 1 designates a support portion, and 1a designates a protrusion for connecting the ear hook portion that protrudes from the support portion. The tip of the protruding portion 1a is conical, and the side surface is cut with fine serrations in the right angle direction in the longitudinal direction. The purpose of this jaggedness is to provide resistance so that the ear hook part does not come off easily. Figure 2 shows an ear hook made of polyester elastomer, Figure A is a front view, and Figure B is an end view seen from direction B in Figure I. 2 is an ear hook part, and 2a is a "blind hole" into which the protruding part 1a of the support part 1 is inserted. This “blind hole 2a”
has a similar cross-sectional shape that is slightly smaller than the cross-sectional shape of the protrusion 1a. In Figure 2B, blind hole 2a
The rectangular cross section of is slightly inclined, but this is to bring the tip (lower part) of the ear hook 2 closer to the head. Since the blind hole 2a is smaller than the protruding part 1a, it is difficult to insert the protruding part 1a into the blind hole 2a as it is, so the ear hook part is heated to 100 to 120 DEG C. to soften it and then inserted. After that, when the polyester elastomer is returned to below body temperature in water or air, it will shrink, so the ear hook 2 can be used without using adhesive.
is firmly connected and fixed to the support part 1 (see Fig. 3). Advantageously, the polyester elastomer ear hook 2 of the present invention softens when heated again, so that when held with both hands and pulled, the two can be easily separated. Therefore, since the ear hook part 2 can be easily replaced by a simple operation of heating, it can be easily replaced if it gets dirty or
It has the advantage that even amateur wearers can replace it when they get tired of it. However, the scope of the present invention does not exclude embodiments in which the use of an adhesive makes it impossible to replace the ear hook. According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a vine that is not only practical as a conventional vine, but also has excellent wearing comfort and resistance to refractive fatigue.
