ルムの無駄がなくなり、充分な耐圧強度が得られ
るなどの経済性、耐圧性の点で著しい向上が見ら
れることは当業者の多くが考え、研究してきたと
ころであるが、フイルムとして耐ピンホール性、
ガスバリヤー性、優れたヒートシール性などの多
性能を具備した複層フイルムを用いる際には、第
4図に示すように内容物が衛生上接することの望
ましくないハイバリヤー性のフイルム中間層7と
側縁端面において直接に接し得るので、液体、粘
稠体の包装には未だ実用に供されていないのが現
状である。
