Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify exceedingly preparation in comparison to conventional after-treatment system by giving metallic luster only to mark parts when a decorative substance is molded. CONSTITUTION:A female mold 1 and a male mold 2 are closed to form a cavity 3. The insert 4 of metallic color corresponding to a mark is set on the male mold 2. When transparent resin material is injected, a decorative substance in which a transparent resin molded body 5 and the insert 4 are combined in one body is obtained. When this decorative substance is seen from the surface side (arrow direction) the metallic insert 4 of metallic luster or the mark is seen through a transparent resin molded body 5. Parts excluding the mark of the back is coated generally with paint film. A press-molded piece of aluminum, stainless steel, copper, etc. and a resin molded piece of aluminum, stainless steel, copper, etc. are used suitably for the insert 4. Transparent polycarbonate, acryl resin or the like is used for resin material.

In the sputtering method or vapor deposition method, if the area other than the mark part is masked and sputtering or vapor deposition is performed, a metal film can be formed on the mark part. I can't make a connection. Note that it is also possible to apply a sputtered or vapor-deposited film to the entire surface and then scrape off the unnecessary parts, but it cannot be scraped off if the lens cut is applied to areas other than the marks shown in Figure 7 (■). .

FIG. 1 is a sectional view showing one embodiment of a mold used in the method of the present invention. (1) is a female mold, and a) is a male mold. A cavity (8) is formed by closing the female part (1) and the male part (2). , (4) is a metallic luster-colored insert corresponding to the mark, and is set in the male die (2). When a transparent resin material is injection molded using such a molding material, a decorative body in which a transparent resin molded body (5) and an insert (4) are integrated is obtained as shown in FIG. In this decorative body, when viewed from the front side (in the direction of the arrow), the metallic luster-colored insert (4), that is, the mark, can be seen through the transparent resin molded body (6). Apply a coating.
