PURPOSE:To decrease depth of a box for a driving device and to easily realize miniaturization of a device by installing a magnetic pole tooth of a stator of a linear pulse motor inside the box of a disk driving device. CONSTITUTION:A flat-type linear pulse motor 1 is composed of a stator 2 and a stator 2 and a shifter 3, and a magnetic head 14 fitted at a tip of an arm 13 along a supporting shaft 12 is shiftably installed in the radial direction.
