設したウオータガイドパネルにより防止するフロ
ントデツキ空気取入口の防水装置の改良に係り、
前記ウオータガイドパネルの中央に凸部を、同凸
部の周りに樋を、フエンダ側の樋の外側部に外向
きのフランジを、ウインドガラスモールデイング
側の樋の後側部に後向きのフランジを、同ウイン
ドガラスモールデイング側の樋に下方へ延ぢる樋
を、それぞれ設けたことを特徴とするもので、そ
の目的とする処は、空気取入口への浸水を同空気
取入口を大巾にふさぐことなく防水できる改良さ
れたフロントデツキ空気取入口の防水装置を供す

凸部１３ａを取り囲む樋１３ｂ〜１３ｅとフエン
ダ３側の樋１３ｏの外側部に設けた外向きのフラ
ンジ１３ｆとウインドガラスモールデイング２側
の樋１３ｃの後側部に設けた後向きのフランジ１
３ｇと上記樋１３ｃの端部から下方へ延びる樋１
３ｈとを有している。また１４が上記カウルトツ
プクロスメンバ５及びカウルトツプフロントメン
バ６と上記ウオータガイドパネル１３との間に介
装したプチルラバテープ、１５が上記エアインテ
ークダクト１２と上記カウルトツプインナパネル
４との間に介装したシーラ、第４図の１６が排水

ガラスモールデイング２の方向に返されたのち、
第１図の矢印ロ方向に導かれる。また上記フラン
ジ１３ｆ，１３ｇの上端はカウルトツプアウタパ
ネル８のフランジの下端より高くしてあり、上記
隙間から浸入した水Ｗがフランジ１３ｆ，１３ｇ
を乗り越えて樋１３ｂ，１３ｃ側に流れることは
あまりないが、万一流れた場合には凸部１３ａと
フランジ１３ｆ，１３ｇとの間に形成した樋１３
ｂ，１３ｃとそれに接続した下向きの樋１３ｈと
を経て第１図の矢印ハ方向に導かれる。このとき
エアＡが第４図のように流れており、空気取入口
（エアインテイクダクト１２）への浸水を同空気
取入口を大巾にふさぐことなく防止できる効果が
