Abstract

PURPOSE:To make complicated piping unnecessary and permit effecient heat collection by a method wherein a light absorbing exothermal panel is arranged at the end of an optical fiber permitting the incidence of collected light beams from the focal point of the solar light collecting device so as to be intersected with the optical axis of the light beams projected from the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber 3 is provided so that the collected light beams can be projected thereinto from the focal point 2 of the solar light collecting device A or a Fresnel lens, for example, and the light absorbing exothermal panel 4 is arranged at the end of the other terminal 3B of the optical fiber 3 so as to be intersected with the optical axis of light beams projected from the optical fiber 3. The light absorbing exothermal panel 4 is consisting of a panel body effecting heat radiation after receiving the solar beams S' and made of a heat resistant black panel or the like. According to such device, complicated piping may be made unnecessary and efficient heat collection may be effected.

These solar water heaters supply water to a light-receiving plate placed outdoors, store the heated water in a hot water tank, or connect the light-receiving plate and a separate hot water storage tank using a heat medium, such as a heat pump. Some devices are known that transfer a heat to warm water in a hot water tank.

Problems with the Prior Art However, in conventional solar water heaters, it is necessary to directly guide water or a heat medium to the light receiving plate that receives sunlight, which makes piping construction very troublesome. In the case of so-called pump-type water heaters, the hot water tank is placed on the roof or the like together with the light receiving plate, so the installation base needs to have a structure that can withstand that much weight.

Effects Since this invention is configured as described above, it is sufficient to connect the solar concentrator to the heating element (for example, water) with an optical fiber. There is no need for troublesome construction work, including measures to prevent water leakage, and solar concentrators installed outdoors do not require particularly strong installation foundations because they are not heavy even with a vast light receiving area. It is easy to install, and
There is almost no loss during the sunlight transmission path, so efficiency is high, and heat can be used effectively even in remote locations.
