より連結部が構成され、この種のクリンク機構に
よるときは、スタンドパイプの連結操作は簡便に
なるものの爪体と外周鍔との係合状態が押しバネ
の付勢力のみによつて保持されて連結部の強度が
弱く、強大な水圧により爪体が不測に後退したと
きには、スタンドパイプの連結が解除されても消
火作業に支障をきたしてしまうという重大な問題
があつた。
