This invention is a connection control device that displays the line connection procedure of a line connection control device that is installed to send and receive data between opposing devices via a switched line or a data line by following a predetermined procedure. This invention relates to improvements in status display devices. In a system that has data transmitting/receiving devices, such as a central computer and a terminal device, facing each other via a line, the line connection control unit generally connects the line by following a predetermined procedure, and then sends and receives data between each device. It is like that. Furthermore, in such a system, it is generally known to use two to three light emitting diodes or a synchroscope as a connection status display device for each device. However, such conventional display devices have the disadvantage that they cannot keep track of the progress of the connection sequence, and if a failure occurs, it is not possible to determine in which position and in which sequence the failure occurred. The purpose of this invention is to eliminate these drawbacks.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a connection status display device that can display and monitor the progress of a connection control sequence by dividing it into transmission and reception, and can immediately identify a faulty part. In order to achieve the above object, the present invention includes a display element that corresponds to the step of transmitting a signal to the transmission line in the connection control step for making or receiving a call to the line connection control device, and a display element that receives the signal from the reception line. Display elements corresponding to each step are arranged on a display panel in the order corresponding to the steps, and the display elements are sequentially turned on. The details will be explained below with reference to the drawings. Figures 1a and 1b are front views of a display panel of a display device according to an embodiment of the present invention, in which figure a is a front view of a display panel that displays a call sequence, and figure b is a front view of a display panel that displays a call sequence. It is a front view. In the figure, Pt 1 to Pt 22 and Pr 1 to Pr 23 are light emitting elements, respectively.
PTT is the calling sequence transmission line side panel, PRT
is the receiving line side panel of the calling sequence, PTR is the transmitting line side panel of the incoming call sequence, and PRT is the receiving line side panel of the incoming call sequence. Furthermore, the display function of each light emitting element is shown below.

[Table] Such a display device is provided at the location of a line connection control device such as a network control device. FIG. 2 is a block diagram of an embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, CPU1 and CPU2 are processing units of terminal equipment,
NCU1 and NCU2 are network control devices, LF is a switched line,
DF is the identification section, SL is the selection section, RG is the register, PT
is a display element group. Furthermore, the display element group PT includes the light emitting elements Pt 1 to Pt 22 , Pr 1 to Pr 23 , which were explained using FIGS. 1a and b,
Further, each bit of the register RG is allocated corresponding to each of these elements Pt 1 to Pt 22 and Pr 1 to Pr 22 . Explain the operation. When the transmission line T is in a ready state where no data is being transmitted, this is recognized by the identification unit.
DF identifies, operates selector SL, and switches the corresponding bit in the register from logic level "0" to level "1". As a result, the light emitting element Pt1 emits light to indicate that the transmission line T side is in the ready state. Also, at this time, if there is no incoming call on the receiving line R side, the identification unit DE identifies this, selects and drives the bit of the register REG with the selector SL, and selects and drives the bit of the register REG, and the light emitting element Pr 1
lights up. Network control unit NCU that the processing unit CPU1 emits light
1, the identification unit DF identifies this,
The register RG is operated via the selector SL to light up the calling light emitting element Pt2 . In the same manner, if there is no collision between departures and landings, the light-emitting lamp indicating that dialing is possible lights up, and when the network control unit NCU1 starts transmitting the dial signal to the exchange LF, the light-emitting element Pt4 lights up. Pt 5 lights up. When the transmission of the dial signal is finished and the exchange LF is operating normally, a readout signal will be transferred to the receiving line R, which will be detected and the light emitting element PR
Turn on 5. Next, the called party number is transferred from the exchange LF, but when the transfer is detected at the line R position, the light emitting element Pr 6 lights up, and the connection is completed, the called party number is transferred from the exchange LF side. A connection completion notification is detected and displayed by the light emitting element Pr6 . At this time, in FIG. 2, the network control unit NCU2 connects the processing unit CPU2 to the line, and connects the processing unit CPU2 to the line.
1. Enable data transmission and reception between CPU2. At this point, the light emitting elements Pt 6 and Pr 8 light up. The light emitting element Pt7 is turned on at the timing when the processing device CPU sends data, and when a response signal etc. are returned from the processing device CPU2, the light emitting element Pr9 is turned on. Once the information transfer is complete,
A recovery signal is sent from the processing device CPU1, and the light emitting element Pt8 lights up. Further, when a disconnection state is detected on the receiving line R side, the light emitting element Pr 10 lights up. Also, if a disconnection instruction signal is sent from the exchange while the recovery signal is being sent to the exchange LF,
This is detected and the light emitting element Pt9 lights up. If the device operates normally thereafter, the light emitting elements Pt 12 and Pr 13 will light up, indicating that both the transmission line and the reception line are in the ready state. Furthermore, when a recovery failure occurs, the corresponding light emitting element lights up. Note that the incoming call sequence is the reverse of the above-described call origination sequence in terms of sending and receiving, so a description thereof will be omitted. As explained above, according to the present invention, the connection sequence, such as the calling sequence, is displayed sequentially for each transmission line and reception line, and if a failure occurs during the connection sequence, the connection sequence on the transmission side is It can be immediately determined that it is a control device, and it can also be immediately determined at what point a failure has occurred.
