Abstract

PURPOSE:To exhibit function of pump with simple structure by combining cubes having oval cross-section while continuously contacting the sidefaces of adjoining cubes then rotating them and utilizing the variation of space to be produced in the center. CONSTITUTION:Cubes 2 having oval cross-section are combined such that the sidefaces of adjoining cubes 2 will contact each other then they are rotated simultaneously in same direction with same speed. The space in central section will be smallest when the sidefaces at one end of thin section of cubes 2 are collected in central section while largest when they are opened outward entirely. Expansion and contraction of said space 3 are repeated as the cubes 3 rotate. When applying flatboards 4 to the upper and lower sections of the cubes 2 to enclose the central space section 3 and fixing suction and discharge valves to the upper and lower sections, the function of rotary pump can be exhibited through simple structure.
