Since ancient times, there has been a custom in Japan to display Kadomatsu at the entrances of houses during the New Year, and these Kadomatsu were usually decorated with rings. This ring ornament originally had the sacredness of God,
It shows clean areas, places where uncleanness and demons cannot enter,
The ring decoration has the meaning of "purification", and is not only attached to the above-mentioned Kadomatsu, but also at the entrance of each room,
It is also hung indoors, such as near the water supply in the kitchen. This ring decoration is made by forming a circle of new rice straw from that year, and pasting paper, urajiro, yuzuriha, etc. onto the ring-shaped shimenawa rope with several strands of rice straw hanging below.

Due to their nature, the period of demand for these ring decorations is limited to a very short period of time, that is, a few days at the end of the year. Most of it was done by hand. In addition, it has become difficult to obtain natural materials such as urajiro, yuzuriha, and rice straw, which not only causes prices to rise, but also the size of the ring decorations is restricted by the size of these materials. It wasn't easy to make it the right size for the place where it would be displayed.

The present invention was developed with this in mind, and aims to provide a ring ornament that can be made in large quantities and stored for a long period of time, is inexpensive and easy to make, and has no particular restrictions on size. The ring decoration is made of a Mizuhiki Shimenawa, which is made by weaving bundled Mizuhiki together to form a ring, with the Mizuhiki hanging from the bottom as appropriate, and a plastic molded product, a printed piece of paper, etc. Its gist is that it consists of a fake urajira attached to the annular part and a paper tape attached to the annular part of the mizuhiki shimenawa in the same way.

The drawing is a front view showing an embodiment of the present invention.
In the drawing, 1 is a mizuhiki shimenawa rope, 2 is an imitation urajiroi, 3 is a paper tape, and 4 is an ear of rice. The mizuhiki shimenawa rope 1 is composed of an annular part 11 and a hanging part 12. The annular part 11 is formed by braiding three bundles of mizuhiki, each with gold in the center and white mizuhiki on both sides, and tying them together at the top to form a ring. Drooping part 1
2 is an appropriate number of golden and white mizuhiki,
It hangs down from the lower part of the annular part 11.

The imitation lining 2 consists of an imitation lining 21 made of, for example, a plastic molded product and an imitation leaf 22 printed on a piece of paper and cut out in the same shape. This imitation ura-shimenawa 2 is attached to the lower part of the annular part 11 of the mizuhiki shimenawa 1 together with the paper tape 3 by, for example, gluing or stapling. In addition, the rice ear 4 is attached to the lower part of the mizuhiki shimenawa rope 1 together with these imitation urajiro 2 and paper tape 3. Since this rice ear 4 is not particularly markedly altered, a real rice ear is used as a lucky charm.

As described above, according to the ring ornament of the present invention, it is possible to mechanize it to some extent and the raw materials can be obtained very easily, so that a ring ornament that is inexpensive and easy to make can be provided.
Furthermore, since the size of the material can be freely set, it becomes possible to have a variety of ring decorations of various sizes, so it becomes possible to select a ring decoration of a size that suits the place where it is displayed. Furthermore, since mizuhiki is used instead of rice straw for ring-shaped shimenawa, it is possible to provide a luxurious and classy ring decoration, and there is no need to worry about discoloration like with rice straw.

Although detailed explanation has been given above according to the illustrated embodiment,
The present invention is not limited to this, for example, the color combination, number, weaving method, etc. of the Mizuhiki can be selected as appropriate, and the Ura-shiro type can be made by omitting the imitation Yuzuri leaves and using only the imitation Ura-shiro. It is also good as
Furthermore, it is also possible to omit the ears of rice.
