ロツドの少なくとも一方に、該ロツドと当接するテーパ
ー部が形成された調整ネジを設けたことを特徴とするヘ
ッドキャリツジ摺動機構。A magnetic disk drive device comprising: a head carriage to which a magnetic head is attached; a pair of guide rods for slidingly guiding the head carriage; and a stepping motor for slidingly driving the head carriage along the guide rods. A head carriage sliding mechanism characterized in that at least one of a pair of guide rods on which the head carriage slides is provided with an adjustment screw having a tapered portion that comes into contact with the rod.
