Claims

A protrusion that protrudes in the thickness direction of the magnetic tape cassette to prevent incorrect insertion is provided on the bottom surface of the cassette holder into which the magnetic tape cassette is inserted, and a predetermined clearance is provided on the top surface of the magnetic tape cassette at the upper part of the cassette holder. A plurality of cassette insertion/extraction guides are provided, facing each other at appropriate intervals in a direction perpendicular to the insertion direction of the magnetic tape cassette, and these cassette insertion/extraction guides are connected to the cassette loading/unloading mechanism. The clearance is smaller than the amount of protrusion of the protrusion when the force set holder is located at the cassette insertion/extraction position, and when the cassette holder is located at the cassette loading position, the magnetic tape cassette is removed from the bottom of the cassette holder.
