圧力容器1の下部には制御棒駆動機構ハウジング
4及び中性子束計測用ハウジング5が突出して設
けられ、圧力容器1の一部分を形成している。制
御棒駆動機構6は制御棒駆動機構ハウジング4内
に収納される。ペデスタル3内の圧力容器1の下
方には空間7が形成され、またペデスタル3には
制御棒駆動機構6を空間7内に出入れする搬出入
口8が設けられている。空間7内のペデスタル3
の側壁にはブラケツト9が突出して設けられ、ブ
ラケツト9の上部には環状のレール10が敷設さ
れている。制御棒駆動機構交換装置12は前期レ
ール10上を移動する旋回移動装置11及び着脱
装置13並びに取扱装置14から構成されてい
る。また着脱装置13は走行台車15及び着脱ヘ
ツド16から構成され、制御棒駆動装置マウンテ
イングボルトの着脱、アンカツプリングの確認、
ドレン処理、着脱ヘツドの昇降等の機能を有し、
制御棒駆動機構ハウジング4への制御棒駆動機構
6の取付け、取外しを行うことができる。取扱装
置14は走行台車17及びマスト18から構成さ
れ、前記着脱装置13で取外した制御棒駆動機構
6の受取り、受渡し及び横転機能を有している。
この取扱装置14により横転された制御棒駆動機
構6は運搬用カート21に保持積載され、ペデス
タル3の搬出入口8からブリツジ19を介して格
納容器2の貫通口20を通り搬出される。
