ｂはそれぞれ赤外線素子の検出信号とそれに対する微分
波形を示す波形図である。 −図中、１はストリップ、４はマンドレル、５はユニッ
トローラ、６はユニットフレーム、１５は赤外線素子、
１７は駆動及び信号処理器、１８は段差検出信号器、２
１は視野である。 一

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. マンドレルに巻取られるストリップの先端と、このスト
    リップをマンドレル側に外方から押付けるユニットロー
    ラとの衝突を回避させる機構を有する巻取装置の前記ス
    トリップ先端の位置を検出する装置において、前記スト
    リップ表面にその視野を向けて配置された赤外線検知素
    子と、この赤外線検知素子により検知された視野内の温
    度信号を微分処理する微分回路と、前記赤外線検知素子
    を駆動する回路とからなることを特徴とするストリップ
    の先端検出装置。
