The inventors of the present invention have conducted many years of research into methods and equipment for continuously pre-treating fabrics, that is, sequentially performing desizing, scouring, and bleaching, and have finally achieved an effective pre-treatment. There is. However, after pre-treatment of the fabric, a cleaning treatment is required to completely remove the treatment liquid used during the pre-treatment, such as a caustic solution, from the fabric to be treated. Therefore, conventionally, pre- and post-treated fabrics are washed in the next step, but this washing requires a huge amount of washing equipment and a large amount of water resources.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and its first purpose is to wash the fabric immediately after pretreatment in a steamer can in which pretreatment is performed,
This is intended to reduce the need for cleaning equipment. The second purpose is to use a portion of the caustic waste liquid used during pretreatment as a soap liquid when washing fabrics, thereby increasing the effectiveness of washing the fabrics. The third purpose is to spray the soap liquid onto the fabric from a nozzle to enhance the cleaning effect and to give the fabric texture and bulkiness.

It has a pair of seal rubber rolls 4 1 , a liquid seal tank 4 2 and a throttle bar 4 3 provided on the inlet 2 side from the seal rubber rolls. In addition, the other outlet-side sealing mechanism 5 includes a pair of sealing rubber rolls 5 1 that are pressed against each other.
A slow cooling tank 52 is provided on the outlet port 3 side of the seal rubber roll. 6 is steamer can body 1
The fabric 7 supplied into the steamer can body 1 is conveyed without tension by a group of rolls arranged in a horizontal direction at the inner upper part of the steamer can body 1. 8 1 and 8 2 are net conveyors vertically spaced apart from each other below the roll group 6 in the steamer can 1, and a gap a is formed between the net conveyors 8 1 and 8 2 . are doing. Nozzles 9 for spraying cleaning liquid toward the gap a are arranged in a staggered manner along both of the net conveyors. Also, near the end of the gap a formed between the net conveyors 81 and 82 , there is a nozzle (in this example, nozzles 4 and 4 in this embodiment) for spraying cleaning hot water toward the gap a.

Next, to describe its function, first, the inside of the steamer can 1 is maintained at a high humidity and heat of 120 to 155°C, and the liquid sealing tank 42 is filled with a predetermined pretreatment liquid (caustic liquid). Cooling water is filled into the cold tank 52 . Therefore, the fabric 7 is passed through the introduction side sealing mechanism 4, and the fabric 7 impregnated with caustic liquid is transferred without tension over the roll group 6 in the steamer, and sufficient steaming is performed during this time. Next, the fabric is placed on the upper net conveyor 81 and transferred, and steaming is proceeded here as well while transferring the fabric 7 with no tension. When the transfer on the net conveyor 81 is completed, the pretreatment by steaming is completed. Next, the fabric is transferred into the gap a formed by the upper and lower net conveyors 8 1 and 8 2 , and the fabric that moves through this gap a as the net conveyors rotate is transferred to the nozzle 9 .
In order to receive the jetting pressure of the cleaning liquid sprayed from the fabric, the cleaning liquid penetrates into the fibers of the fabric and is transferred in a meandering manner between the upper and lower net conveyors as the net conveyor rotates. Therefore, the fabric transferred by both the upper and lower net conveyors is subjected to the liquid pressure jetted from the nozzle 9, and the cleaning liquid is forced into the fibers of the fabric, and the fabric is meandered between the upper and lower net conveyors. When the serpentine fabric is repeatedly beaten, and when the serpentine fabric rises and falls, vibrations are generated by the jetting force of the cleaning liquid, and an effective kneading force is exerted.

Incidentally, the cleaning liquid injected from the nozzle 9 is a waste liquid containing impurities in the saucer 11 containing caustic which has fallen off from the fabric and is pumped up and used repeatedly. That is, since the liquid in the saucer 11 (fabric cleaning wastewater) contains wax, protein, pectin, ash, etc., the liquid produces a soap effect as described below, and the cleaning effect is enhanced.

Wax: A substance contained in cotton at 0.4 to 0.8% and with a melting point of 85 to 90°C.It is decomposed by caustic soda into fatty acids and alcohol. In a solution of caustic soda, fatty acids become soap, and alcohol is also solubilized by the soap.

In this way, the soap-like waste liquid is sprayed onto the swollen fabric due to the high temperature inside the steamer, resulting in effective primary cleaning.
Furthermore, the spraying force repeatedly applies kneading and beating force to the fabric, thereby causing the fabric to shrink and feel while cleaning progresses. Immediately before the fabric 7 is led out from the gap a, the fabric is washed by the spray pressure of washing water from the nozzle 10. That is, since the cleaning is performed by the jet pressure of high-temperature cleaning water from the nozzle, the cleaning water is permeated into the inner core of the fabric while it is in a swollen state, resulting in effective secondary cleaning. .

As described above, the present invention involves supplying a fabric impregnated with a caustic solution into a high-pressure steamer where high-pressure moist heat is maintained, performing a pretreatment using high-pressure moist heat, and then placing the fabric in the same high-pressure steamer, vertically spaced apart. The fabric is supplied into the gap passage of an endless web conveyor that is installed and has liquid permeability, and is transferred as the endless net conveyor rotates, and then the caustic liquid is removed from the nozzles arranged in a staggered manner along the passage. Primary cleaning is performed by spraying circulating liquid,
Further, near the exit of the passage, the transferred fabric is sprayed with washing hot water from a nozzle for secondary cleaning, thereby removing caustic or wax, protein, and pectin that have fallen off from the fabric being pretreated. The waste liquid, which contains impurities such as grains and ash, strengthens the cleaning power of the fabric, and the liquid is sprayed from a nozzle toward the fabric for effective primary cleaning, and then the fabric becomes swollen. Secondary cleaning is effectively performed by receiving the jetting force of hot water from the nozzle. Furthermore, the fabric is conveyed in a meandering manner between the conveyors by the jetting force from the nozzles, thereby creating a texture and shrinkage in the fabric, resulting in a firm and soft pretreated fabric.
