Therefore, the recording electrode 8 and the ground conductor 7 are transferred to the ink 3 forming a meniscus to the ink jet port 5.
When an electrostatic force between the ink and the ink is applied by applying a high voltage pulse, the ink 3 is ejected from the part of the recording electrode 8 to which the high voltage pulse is applied, and this adheres to the recording paper 6, forming a dot. By continuously repeating this operation, a recorded image corresponding to the image signal Sv is formed.

Note that when the above-mentioned pulse voltage is applied to the recording electrode 8b, at the same time, a peak value of 1.5 KV is applied to the recording electrode 8a.
When a pulse voltage with a pulse width of 200 μsec is applied, the ejection direction of the ink 3 from the position of the recording electrode 8b is shifted, and recording is performed at a position shifted by approximately 50 μm toward the recording electrode 8c.

This relationship is the same between each of the recording electrodes 8a to 8h, and a pulse voltage is applied to the recording electrode to which the ink 3 is to be ejected and the adjacent recording electrode according to the above-mentioned relationship. Therefore, the recording position is shifted due to the deviation in the ejection direction of the ink 3.

However, when the peak value of the pulse voltage applied to the adjacent recording electrode exceeds 1.5 KV, the ink 3 is also ejected from the position of the adjacent recording electrode, so in some cases, unnecessary recording may be performed. This resulted in some drawbacks.

In addition, along with the above recording electrodes 8a to 8h,
A separate control electrode is provided inside the ink ejection port 5, and the ejection of the ink 3 is also controlled by applying a pulse voltage to the control electrode. Depending on the pulse voltage conditions, ink 3 may also be ejected from the position of the control electrode, which puts restrictions on the peak value and pulse width of the pulse voltage applied to the control electrode, making it impossible to obtain sufficient ink 3. This has the disadvantage that jetting cannot be controlled.

The present invention has an object of eliminating such drawbacks of the conventional ink recording head at once, and in the above-mentioned ink recording head, the ink is arranged along the direction in which the ink is ejected to the inner surface of the ink ejection port, and the electrostatic force serving as the ejection condition is applied. A plurality of recording electrodes are selectively provided with a plurality of recording electrodes, and a plurality of recording electrodes corresponding to the recording electrodes are arranged near the inner surface of the ink jetting port and outside the recording electrodes, are insulated from the ink and the recording electrodes, and are equipped with an electrostatic force that serves as a jetting condition. a plurality of control electrodes to which an electrostatic force for shifting the direction of ejection of ink is selectively and simultaneously applied corresponding to a selected one of the recording electrodes;
An object of the present invention is to provide an extremely effective ink recording head capable of sufficiently controlling the direction of ink ejection.

FIG. 5 is a sectional view similar to FIGS. 3 and 4, and shows recording electrodes 8 protruding toward the inner surface of the lower plate 1b.
Control electrodes 11a to 11h, which are insulated from the ink 3 and the recording electrodes 8a to 8g by an insulator 10, are provided inside the lower plate 1b in correspondence with the arrangement intervals of a to 8g, and the control electrodes 11a to 11h are connected to the ink jet ports 5. For example, when a pulse voltage with a peak value of 2 KV and a pulse width of 200 μsec is selectively applied to the recording electrode 8a, correspondingly, the control electrodes 11a or When a pulse voltage having a peak value of 2 KV and a pulse width of 200 μsec is selectively applied to the control electrode 11b, the direction in which the ink 3 is ejected from the position of the recording electrode 8a is shifted toward the control electrode 11b or 11a.

Note that if the peak value of the pulse voltage applied to the control electrode 11a or 11b is increased, the amount of deviation in the ejection direction will increase;
Ink 3 does not eject from the position.
