しめられる２つのリール台と、所定のテープ走行モード
において上記２つのリール台のいずれか一方のもののギ
ヤ部と噛合する駆動ギヤとを備え、前記テープリールか
ら引き出されたテープをビデオヘッドが設けられた回転
ドラムに巻き付けた状態で走行せしめるビデオテープレ
コーダにおけるテープ走行装置であって、前記２つのリ
ール台のうちテープの走行方向が前記回転ドラムの回転
方向に逆らう方向であるときテープ番巻き取る側のリー
ル台のギヤ部の径を他方のリール台のギヤ部の径より大
きくしたことを特徴とするビデオテープレコーダにおけ
