The present invention was made in order to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional lined storage tank described above, by making holes in the shield plate and welding studs made of the same material as the lining plate directly to the lining plate. An object of the present invention is to provide a lining storage tank which enables effective fixing of a lining plate with good weldability by closing with a washer.

Next, the shield plate 2 in which the through holes 10 have been previously opened is brought into contact with the back surface of the lining plate 1, and at this time, the through holes 10 are inserted into the studs 8. Then, a washer 9 having a shape slightly larger than the outer diameter of the stud 8 and whose outer periphery is slightly larger than the through hole 10 of the shield plate 2 is inserted into the stud 8. A through hole 12 into which the stud 8 is inserted is provided in the center of the washer 9. The vicinity of the through hole 12 provided in the washer 9, the side surface of the stud, the outer peripheral surface of the washer 9, and the shield plate 2 are each watertightly welded and fixed.

After welding the stud 8 and the lining plate 1, screw the washer 9 into the stud 8 and connect the shield plate 2 and the lining. After the plates 1 are brought into close contact with each other, the inner and outer circumferential surfaces of the washer 9 may be welded, respectively.
