Abstract

PURPOSE:To absorb the dimensional error of a body to be thermally spayed by forming a couple of masking jigs for both faces of a soft elastic member, and joining both jigs by the superposition of tapered parts provided to respective end parts. CONSTITUTION:Masking jigs 2a and 2b for both faces are formed of an elastic member, and the inner diameter of the jig is regulated to the minimum value of the allowable dimension of a ceramic element 1 to be thermally sprayed. Accordingly, the dimensional error of the ceramic element 1 of the same dimension in the radial direction can be absorbed by the masking jigs 2a and 2b of the same dimension. Besides, the masking jigs 2a and 2b are joined by the sliding of the respective tapered parts 6a and rectangular parts with a space 7 as a relief part, and hence both jigs are closely joined without generation of a gap communicating with the outside. The dimensional error of the ceramic element 1 in the thicknesswise direction at this time can also be absorbed sufficiently.

[Technical background of the invention] Sintered parts, for example non-straight FL11 of lightning arresters! Ceramic elements used in antibody elements are formed by sintering into a disc or cylinder shape, and then a metal spray layer is provided on both sides. This was done using a metal masking jig as shown in the figure. That is, first, one masking jig 22 is attached to one side of the object 21 to be thermally sprayed, such as a ceramic element, and the inside surface of the edging part 23 of the masking jig 22 is coated with brass, aluminum, etc. using a gold J11 melting rJJ apparatus 24. Metal spraying Ii! i25 was formed, and then the object 21 to be thermally sprayed was reversed, the masking jig 22 was replaced on the opposite side, and metal thermal spraying was performed on the opposite side in the same manner, thereby forming metal thermal sprayed layers on both sides.

That is, even for the same thermal sprayed object 21, there is an allowable error in the dimensions after sintering, so instead of the conventional masking jig 22, several types of masking jigs with different dimensional tolerances are prepared. Moreover, when spraying metal onto the object 21 to be thermally sprayed, a suitable masking jig must be selected each time.

By the way, when automating such manual work, it would be inconvenient to just cover one side with a masking jig, so both sides were covered with a masking jig, but this also had the following drawbacks. Ta. That is, when a masking jig is placed on both surfaces, a gap is likely to be formed at the joint on the side surface of the object to be thermally sprayed, or the edge portion on the surface side is likely to be lifted. Because of this, the sprayed metal enters through the gap,
There are disadvantages such as staining the side surface of the object to be thermally sprayed, or deterioration of the dimensional accuracy of the non-metal sprayed surface from the vicinity of the end of the metal spray layer to the edge of the surface of the object to be thermally sprayed.

[Object of the Invention] The present invention was proposed to solve the problems of the prior art as described above, and its purpose is to provide one type of masking jig for thermal spraying objects of the same size. It is possible to cover both sides by using the metal coating, and in this case, there is no gap at the edge of the joint A'J, and the metal can be sprayed only on the sprayed surface. This improves the dimensional accuracy of the non-metallic sprayed surface, and also improves masking. A masking filler 1-Jig with excellent workability that can easily peel off the metal sprayed member attached to the jig and can also spray metal on multiple objects to be sprayed at the same time. It is to provide.

[Summary of the invention v5:] The masking set jig according to the present invention includes a pair of masking jigs for both sides made of an elastic member, and the inner diameter of the masking jigs is set to the minimum value of the size of the object to be thermally sprayed. By matching, dimensional errors in the radial direction of objects to be thermally sprayed with the same size can be absorbed by masking jigs with the same size, and
The masking jigs are joined together by overlapping the tapered parts provided at each end, and by forming a space inside the joined part, each tapered part is They slide together and escape into space,
By making sure that both ends are in close contact with each other without creating a gap that communicates with the outside, and by configuring these masking jigs to be tightened from both sides, it is possible to absorb dimensional errors in the thickness direction of the object to be thermally sprayed. It is an IC product.

Further, on the side that comes into contact with the surface of the ceramic element 1, an edging portion 4 having a constant width from the surface edge of the ceramic cord 1 is provided in order to cover the non-metal sprayed surface.
A metal sprayed layer 5 is formed on the surface of the ceramic cord 1 exposed from the inner hollow part. Further, the end portions of the masking jigs 2a and 2b that are joined to each other when attached to the ceramic cord 1 from their respective sides are provided with a tapered portion 6a and a rectangular portion 6b, respectively.
By fitting the tapered part 6a onto the outer side of the rectangular part 6b, the two are joined together, and at the time of this joining, a space part 7 having a triangular cross section is formed inside. It has become.

First, the double-sided masking jigs 2a and 2b are made of an elastic member, and their inner diameters are equal to the diameter of the ceramic element 1.
Since the diameter of the ceramic element 1 is adjusted to the minimum diameter of 11t1, the dimensional error in the radial direction of the ceramic element 1 of the same size can be absorbed by the masking jigs 2a and 2b of the same size. Both sides can be covered using one set of masking jigs. J: Yes, masking jig 2.
In the joint part of a and 2b, the tapered part 68 and the rectangular part are slid together and the space part 7 serves as a relief part, so that they can be tightly attached without creating a gap that communicates with the outside, and this joint can be removed during metal spraying. There is no fear that the sprayed metal will enter from the inside, and the side surfaces of the ceramic element 1 will not be contaminated.

Furthermore, dimensional errors in the thickness direction of the ceramic cord 1 are sufficiently absorbed by the escape into the space 7 and the elastic action of the leaf spring 8 provided on the set metal fitting 9. Therefore, on the surface side of the ceramic 1, there is no wobbling of the masking jigs 2a and 2b in both the diametrical and 17-dimensional directions, so the edging portion 4 is in close contact with the surface of the ceramic element 1, forming a non-metal sprayed portion. Accuracy can be improved.

Furthermore, the fact that the masking jigs 2a and 2b are elastic members also has the effect that masking is easy and that the sprayed metal is easily peeled off.

That is, since a plurality of masking jigs 2a and 2b are each integrally formed with a pair of metal support plates 3a and 3b for both sides, metal spraying can be performed on a plurality of objects at the same time, greatly increasing work efficiency. . In particular, in this embodiment, the support plate 3a,
Since the set metal fitting 9 into which the metal spraying device 3b is inserted is connected to the reversing part 11, it is easy to perform double-sided l Metal spraying is possible. Furthermore, when performing assembly line work, two metal spraying apparatuses 12 are installed side by side as shown in FIG.

In this embodiment, the ceramic element is described as having a cylindrical shape, but the ceramic element may be configured in the same manner as a cylinder having a disk shape or an elliptical cross section, or other shapes. Furthermore, the shape of the joining part of the masking jig is not limited to a combination of a tapered part and a rectangular part, but any shape that can join the respective tapered parts and form a space as a relief part can be used. You can get the same effect.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, according to the masking set jig of the present invention, it is possible to cover both sides of a workpiece of the same size using one type of masking jig. Since it is possible to reliably spray metal only on the sprayed surface, it is possible to improve the dimensional accuracy of non-metallic sprayed surfaces. ! Since it is possible to spray metal on two pieces at the same time, workability and productivity are greatly improved.
