けたローラーによつて構成され規模に応じていろ
いろな機巾のローラーコンベアが提供されてい
る。しかしながら上記の如き従来の装置では搬入
コンベア巾より若干広い程度、例えば搬入コンベ
ア巾300ミリから拡散供給コンベア巾500ミリ程度
の場合は略均等に拡散することが出来るが、拡散
供給コンベアの所要巾1500〜1800ミリと5〜6倍
に拡散しなければならない時には両外側に充分に
流れず中央寄りが密度が高く両外側にはまばらに
なり、全巾均等な供給が出来ない欠点があつた。
特に近年実用化されつつ光線により果実の等級、
階級を選別する方式の選果機の場合は果実を一列
に列化させて1個ずつ搬送することが必要であり
処理能力が大なる施設では数拾列の選果コンベア
を用いるのでこれに均等に供給するためには1500
〜2400ミリの大きな巾に均等に拡散供給する装置
の実現が必要であつた。

果実・そ菜類を確実に、且つ所望の方向に均等に
拡散させることが可能となつた。

央から左右軸方向にらせん状の凸部6を各々逆向
きとなるように設けている。コンベア4の搬送面
は搬入側を低く、拡散側を高くした上り傾斜とし
ている。搬入側で中央部に搬入される果実そ菜類
は、搬送方向に自転するローラーのらせん状凸部
6によつて押し上げられて転動しながららせん状
凸部6の内面に沿つて両外方へ拡散される。該ロ
ーラーコンベア4の速度は、搬入ベルトコンベア
1の速度に対して1/6〜1/10程度の極めて低い速
度なので果実・そ菜類はローラのらせん状凸部6
で強制的に搬送されるので機巾一杯に均等に拡散
する。7はローラーの一端に設けた自転用スプロ
ケツト、8はローラーの軸でありコンベアチエン
9のリングプレートに設けた軸孔10に差込んで
ローラーチエンコンベアを形成している。11は
自転用チエンで、ローラーの自転用スプロケツト
8に噛合せてコンベアチエン9の速度とは異なる
速度でローラーを自転させる。同自転用チエン1
1はコンベアチエン9の駆動装置(不図示)と連
動して回転させてもよく、又、別個に駆動装置を
