BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, so-called medium-height napkins have been proposed in which the center portion of the skin-contacting surface is formed with a thick layer in order to improve wearability. It has not been put into practical use yet. This known napkin is simply formed into a medium height by thickening the central part of a conventional napkin, or is formed into a medium height by simply compressing both widthwise and/or longitudinal sides. Therefore, the feeling of use is increased compared to conventional flat napkins, and the ease of wearing is not necessarily improved.

On the other hand, conventionally, when wearing pants such as pantaloons, the rear end area of the napkin, which is placed on the buttocks side, was placed on the cavity side in order to prevent the buttocks side from being visible due to the napkin worn. A napkin that is thinner than the front end region has been proposed, but this has not yet been put to practical use. This known napkin has a large step on the connecting line between the front end area and the rear end area, that is, the rear end area suddenly becomes thinner from the connecting line, so it does not give a feeling of use to the wearer. , it causes discomfort when sleeping, and it is difficult to adhere to the skin, causing menstrual blood to leak from the back side.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a napkin that maintains the advantages of conventional napkins, such as absorbency and sense of security in use, while also eliminating the disadvantages mentioned above. In order to achieve the purpose, the gist of the present invention is to fold the lower absorbent material and both ends in the width direction from the front end region to the central region inward, and to make this folded portion wider than the width of the lower absorbent material. An absorbent body is constructed from an upper absorbent material having a narrow width, and a water-impermeable sheet is positioned at least on the lower surface of the lower absorbent material, and this laminate is covered with a water-permeable sheet, so that the central region in the width direction is The sanitary napkin is characterized by having a thick layer, a thin layer in the rear end region, and a thin flap at both ends in the width direction.

In the napkin 1 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, an absorbent body 4 is composed of a lower absorbent material 2 and an upper absorbent material 3. The upper absorbent material 3 is folded inward from both ends in the width direction from the front end region to the central region, as illustrated in the oblique views in FIGS. 6A, B, C, and D.
is formed narrower than the width of the lower absorbent material 2. That is, in FIGS. 6A, B, C, and D, 6 indicates a cutting line and 7 indicates a scoring line, and as shown in each figure, the lower absorbent material 2 is inserted through the cutting line 6 and the folding line 7.
The one in which both widthwise ends 5a of the central region are folded inward from the front end region, and further shown in FIG. 6C,
Another absorbent material 8 is located inside the folded part 5. Folded portion 5 of the lower absorbent material 3 thus formed
is narrower than the lower absorbent material 2 and the width of the rear end region 8 is the same as that of the lower absorbent material 2. Therefore,
As shown in FIG. 2, when the upper absorbent material 3 is stacked on the upper surface of the lower absorbent material 2, both widthwise ends of the lower absorbent material 2 extend outward from both widthwise ends of the folded portion 5. Between the lower absorbent material 2 and the upper absorbent material 3, a thermoplastic hydrophobic net-like sheet 9 having a size that covers the upper surface of the lower absorbent material 2 is placed, and a water-impermeable sheet 9 larger than the lower absorbent material 2 is placed. By positioning the transparent sheet 10 from the lower surface of the lower absorbent material 2 to the upper surface of both ends of the net-like sheet 9 in the width direction, and covering this laminated body with the water-permeable sheet 11,
The napkin 1 is formed with a thick layer in the center region in the width direction and a thin layer in the rear end region, and thin flaps 12 are formed at both ends in the width direction. The napkin 1 thus formed is obtained by heat-pressing (melting) the water-permeable sheets 11 located at both ends in the width direction of the folded portion 5 of the upper absorbent material 3 in a linear manner, so that the linear portions 13 are formed into a net-like sheet. The water-permeable sheet 11 is bonded to the lower absorbent material 2 via the wire 9, and if necessary, the water-permeable sheet 11 located on the upper surface of the folded portion 10 of the water-impermeable sheet 10 overlaid on the net-like sheet 9 is heat-pressed in a line. The water-permeable sheet 11 and the water-impermeable sheet 10 are joined by (melting) the water-permeable sheet 11 and the water-impermeable sheet 10, and depending on the heating and pressure applied in that case, the water-permeable sheet 11 and the water-impermeable sheet 10 form a net shape. The sheet 9 may also be joined.

The napkin 1 shown in FIG. 4 has the following features, except that the upper absorbent material 3 is stacked on the upper surface of the lower absorbent material 2, and the above-mentioned net-like sheet 9 is placed on the upper surface of the upper absorbent material 3, which is large enough to cover the upper surface of the upper absorbent material 3. The structure is the same as that of the napkin 1 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.

The napkin 1 shown in FIG. 5 has a third absorbent material 14 on the upper surface of the lower absorbent material 2, which is narrower than this width and wider than the width of the folded part 5 of the upper absorbent material 3. The structure is the same as that of the napkin 1 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, and also in the case of the napkin 1 shown in FIG. 4, the third absorbent material 14 may be positioned in the same manner as described above. Needless to say, when the third absorbent material 14 is positioned in this manner, the flap 12 of the napkin 1 becomes a two-tiered surface.

The lower absorbent material 2, the upper absorbent material 3, and the third absorbent material 14 are made of materials commonly used for conventional napkins, such as crepe absorbent paper, pulverized pulp, water-insoluble/water-absorbent swelling polymers, etc. , the water-impermeable sheet 10 can also be made of waterproof paper, synthetic resin film, a laminate sheet of the film and paper, etc.
Although the water-permeable sheet 11 can be made of a nonwoven fabric or the like in the same manner as in the past, the present invention is not limited to these materials. Further, both ends 15 in the width direction of the water permeable sheet 11 are overlapped with each other, and both ends 16 in the longitudinal direction are overlapped.
It is also the same as in the conventional method that the material is bonded by heat and pressure (welding).

Since the present invention is constructed as described above, it is possible to achieve the above-mentioned intended purpose. In particular, according to the present invention, when walking while wearing a napkin, both ends of the napkin in the width direction rub against the thighs, and wrinkles similar to those that occur in the center of conventional napkins occur when the napkin is held between the thighs. There is no feeling of use due to this, and the adhesiveness of the vagina to the skin in the vicinity of the buttock groove is improved, and leakage of menstrual blood can be effectively prevented. Furthermore, in the case where the water-permeable sheets located at both ends of the upper absorbent material are linearly joined to the lower absorbent material via a thermoplastic and hydrophobic net-like sheet, the center of the napkin, which is most important for the absorption of menstrual blood, In the case where the upper absorbent material located in the upper part does not move when worn and the net-like sheet having the desired mesh is located, the backflow of menstrual blood once absorbed inside to the skin contact surface is prevented. It is effective in prevention and extremely useful in practical use.
