被覆することにより、幅方向中央部域を厚層に且
つ後端部域を薄層に形成すると共に幅方向両端部
に薄層のフラツプを形成してあることを特徴とす

ち、第６図Ａ，Ｂ，Ｃ，Ｄにおいて、６は切断
線、７は切込み線を示し、それぞれの図に示すよ
うに切断線６、折込み線７を介して下部吸収材２
の前端部域から中央部域の幅方向両端部５ａを内
方に折込んであり、更に第６図Ｃに示すものは、
折込み部５の内部に別の吸収材８を位置させてあ
る。斯くして形成した下部吸収材３の折込み部５
の幅は下部吸収材２よりも狭く且つ後端部域８の
幅は下部吸収材２のそれと同じである。従つて、
第２図に示すように下部吸収材２の上面に上部吸
収材３を重ねた状態では、折込み部５の幅方向両
端部から外側へ下部吸収材２の幅方向両端部が延
出する。下部吸収材２と上部吸収材３との間に
は、下部吸収材２の上面を覆う大きさの熱可塑性
で疎水性のネツト状シート９を位置させ、更に下
部吸収材２よりも大きい不透水性シート１０を下
部吸収材２の下面からネツト状シート９の幅方向
両端部の上面の位置させ、斯くして重ねたこの積
層体を透水性シート１１で被覆することにより、
ナプキン１の幅方向中央部域を厚層に且つ後端部
域を薄層に形成すると共に幅方向両端部に薄層の
フラツプ１２を形成してある。斯くして形成した
ナプキン１は、上部吸収材３の折込み部５の幅方
向両端部に位置する透水性シート１１を線状に熱
圧（溶）着することによりその線上部分１３をネ
ツト状シート９を介して下部吸収材２に接合して
あり、更に必要に応じて、ネツト状シート９に重
ねる不透水性シート１０の折曲部分１０の上面に
位置する透水性シート１１を線上に熱圧（溶）着
することにより、透水性シート１１と不透水性シ
ート１０とを接合してあり、その場合の加熱・加

方向両端部１５を互に重ね、長手方向両端部１６
を熱圧（溶）着するようにしてあることも従来同

のネツト状シートを介して下部吸収材に線状に接
合したものにおいては、経血の吸収上最も重要な
ナプキンの中央部に位置する上部吸収材が装着時
に移動することがなく、且つ所望のメツシユを有
する前記ネツト状シートを位置させたものにおい
ては、内部に一旦吸収された経血の肌当接面への
逆流防止に効果あり、実用に供し極めて有益であ
