Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at miniaturizing the titled device by making in a body a solid state flow velocity detecting element and an anemoscope turning toward a wind blowing direction all the time. CONSTITUTION:A solid-state flow velocity detecting element 1 is made in a body with fixing to the blade 2 of an anemoscope having a fin 3, turning when the wind direction is varied and turning toward the wind blowing direction always. A heating element and element for temp. measurement are formed on the semiconductor substrate for instance in the detecting element 1 and the flow velocity is made to be measured with the utilization of the radiation effect of a heat. A wind direction is detected by the rotation of the blade 2 of anemoscope and a wind speed can be found from the flow velocity-output characteristics as shown in the figure for example.
