成した横葺屋根の降り棟において、頂部の両端より下側
内方に内向き部を形成し、この両内端より樋状部を形成
し、この両外側上端より外方に取付部を各々設けた長尺
の降り棟カバーを前記降り棟に沿って取り付け、この降
り棟箇所の対向する横葺用屋根板端相互を切断して略平
行な適宜の間隔を形成させつつこの横葺用屋根板端が前
記降り棟カバーの樋状部上に位置するように設け、且つ
その主板端上と降り棟カバーの内向き部との間に、下面
が横葺屋根の断面形状と同等になるような略鋸刃状に形
成した面戸材を挿入したことを特徴とした横葺屋根にお
ける降り棟修構造。
