Cameras with interchangeable lenses have a shutter mechanism,
A substantially rectangular parallelepiped camera body having a movable reflective mirror, a dark box, etc. is assembled, and then an interchangeable lens mounting portion for removably holding an interchangeable lens is fixed to the camera body. This interchangeable lens mounting part includes a transmission part for transmitting information such as the aperture value of the attached lens to the mechanism on the camera body side, and fine adjustment of this transmission part and the mechanism inside the camera body during assembly. Since adjustment mechanisms are provided for this purpose, these adjustment mechanisms are exposed after assembly is complete, damaging the overall appearance of the camera, and there is also the risk that these mechanisms may be damaged by physical impact due to collision or contact. There are other inconveniences. Therefore, a front cover has conventionally been provided on the front of the camera body to cover the transmission section and adjustment mechanism to prevent damage due to physical impact and to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the camera. However, in the conventional camera described above, the front cover is provided between a removable board on the front surface of the camera body and an interchangeable lens mounting member such as a lens seat plate, and the front cover is attached to the front cover by the lens mounting member. Since it is sandwiched between the lens mounting member and the substrate, it is necessary to remove the lens mounting member in order to attach or detach the lens mounting member, which causes various inconveniences.

That is, to explain the above-mentioned conventional example in detail, in FIG. 1, aperture information from a photographing lens is electrically transmitted to a substrate 1 which is fixed with screws or the like to a camera mechanism main body (not shown) having a substantially flat rectangular outer shell. An aperture information transmission section 2 made of a resistor for converting the resistance value into a specific resistance value is provided. The front cover 3, which is detachably fixed to the substrate 1, is formed in a shape to cover the aperture information transmitting section 2, and after being fixed to the substrate 1, the front cover 3 is attached to the front surface of the aperture information transmitting section 2, which is attached to the interchangeable lens. An aperture information transmitting ring 5 having a driven portion 4 that engages with the information transmitting member is brought into contact with the ring, and a bayonet seat plate 6 for removably holding an interchangeable lens is attached to the substrate 1 with screws on the front surface thereof. The aperture information transmission ring 5 is fixed to the substrate 1.
It is rotatably held between the The arrangement of these members is such that the front cover 3 is sandwiched between the base plate 1, the aperture information transmission ring 5, and the bayonet seat plate 6, as shown in FIG. 1B.

In the conventional device configured as described above, if the front cover is damaged during assembly or during camera use, or if the internal mechanism of the camera is When it is necessary to remove the front cover, such as when the front cover is used, it is necessary to remove the aperture information transmission ring 5, bayonet seat plate 6, etc. located on the front side. However, once these members are removed, the aperture information transmission ring 5 requires a troublesome connection work with the internal transmitted member, while the bayonet seat plate 6 has to adjust the distance from the front end surface of the seat plate to the film surface. This requires complicated adjustment work (so-called flange back adjustment work), which requires a lot of time and man-hours, which has the disadvantage of significantly increasing repair, assembly, and processing costs.

Furthermore, in the conventional configuration described above, when the camera is a single-lens reflex camera, the front plate is formed in a convex shape in order to ensure the rocking locus of the mirror section inside the camera body. When adjusting or repairing the drive unit, for example, if it is necessary to provide an operation hole to replace an air damper to reduce shock when driving the mirror, the front cover cannot be easily removed as described above. Therefore, the front cover cannot also be used to cover the operation hole, and in addition to the front plate, it is necessary to provide an extra cover that is easy to attach and remove to cover the operation hole, which reduces the number of parts. Also, there is a disadvantage that the number of work steps increases, further increasing manufacturing and repair costs.
