ングする際に、ラインセンタに対し対称に且つ所定の幅
に設定されたサイドトリミング刃物の近傍における鋼帯
エッジの蛇行量を検出し、この検出値を増幅器および電
気油量変換器の順に入力且つ出力させて検出値に応じた
油量に変換しこの油量によって、サイドガイドシリンダ
の作動方向およびその作動量を制御し、該シリンダの動
きに、前記サイドトリミング刃物の前面に近接配置した
