Abstract

PURPOSE:To lower impulsive sound by providing a buffer member which alleviates impulsive noisy sound between movable iron core and yoke in a solenoid which acquires a stroke of constant displacement by electromagnetically attracting a movable iron core. CONSTITUTION:In a silent solenoid which acquires a constant stroke displacement through conversion of an electrical input, the magnetic pole end portion of yoke 10 located at the axial center of yoke 2 is formed in such a manner as holding the iron core from external circumference of iron core 1 during the attracting operation and with the iron core being held caused to have the U- shaped end surface in the manner of forming a strict magnetic circuit. A rubber member 11 for buffering impact is loaded to a deep area of the magnetic pole 10 of the U-shaped yoke with a means such as the bonding. While the iron core 1 of magnetic circuit is attracted through application to an excitation coil 4, the rubber member 11 suppresses generation of impulsive metallic noise sound. Thereby, operation noise level as the solenoid can be lowered.

The movable iron core is operated by electromagnetic attractive force, but there are self-holding types with built-in magnets that do not require electricity during operation, and non-self-holding types that take out the stroke depending on the presence or absence of excitation input. However, regardless of whether the solenoid is of the self-holding type or the non-self-holding type, the solenoid operates with a collision noise during the movable core suction operation.

(B) The figure shows the core and yoke in which the core 1 in the suction and holding state shown in figure (A) is released by the tension of the spring whose other end is fixed to the device housing side to which the solenoid (not shown) is attached, and the core 1 is pulled out forward. This is a state in which a gap 6 is formed between the magnetic poles.

The solenoid closes the gap 6 by energizing (energizing) input to the coil 4 which energizes the core attraction force that overcomes the spring tension with respect to the iron core 1 in the state shown in (B), for example.
b) The core suction is maintained as shown in the figure. However, since the magnet 5 exists in the iron core holding state, the state is maintained even if the coil excitation is cut off. That is, the stroke displacement of the core operation from Figure (B) to Figure (B) is obtained and the displacement is maintained.

In the figure, reference numeral 10 denotes the yoke magnetic tip located at the axis of the yoke 2. This end is shaped to hold the iron core from the outside of the iron core during suction operation, and is in close magnetic contact with the held iron core. The end face is U-shaped so that a target circuit is formed. 1) is a rubber member for cushioning impact attached to the inner part of the U-shaped yoke magnetic pole by means of adhesive or the like. In other words, it is a buffer member that does not generate the sound of metal colliding with the yoke magnetic pole 10 when the iron core 1 is attracted from the state shown in FIG. 2 (B) to the state shown in FIG.
