When roofing materials are damaged in a tiled roof, the damaged parts must be repaired by joining them together. For the pieces of roofing material to be joined, adhesive is applied to the back side and the broken end surface, and both damaged end surfaces are brought together. and secure it in place on the lower row roofing material. However, in the case of a steeply sloped roof, the pieces of roofing material that are joined will slip off before the adhesive hardens, creating a gap between the two broken edges.
Rain enters through these gaps and reaches the back side of the roofing material, which accelerates the aging of the waterproof roofing and causes leaks.

As shown in Fig. 1, the tile used in the present invention has a concave portion 1 in the center of the front edge 1 of the pentagonal flat roofing material A.
1 is formed, and slits 2, 2 are provided at the boundary between the convex portions 12, 12 formed on both the left and right sides of the concave portion 11, from the front edge of the concave portion 11 to the middle in the rear direction of the roof material. And these concave portions 11 and convex portions 12
are formed to have the same width in the left and right direction. As shown in FIG. 2, such roofing materials A are arranged horizontally in a straight line with gaps C having the same width as the slits 2, thereby forming a lower row A1 . The roofing material A of the upper row A2 is offset from the roofing material of the lower row A1 by 1/2 of the width of the roofing material in the left-right direction, and the front edge 1 is located in the slit 2 of the roofing material of the lower row A1 . The roof is raised to approximately match the trailing edge.

First, the convex broken piece 12a is removed, and after thoroughly wiping its broken end face B, back face, and mating adhesive surface, the adhesive 3 is applied to this part, and the piece is placed in its original position. Then, it is fixed using a fixing fitting 4 (FIG. 4). As shown in FIG. 3, this fixture 4 is made of a flat metal plate, and includes an upper piece 41, a rising piece 42,
It consists of a lower piece 43 and an elastic diagonal piece 44 bent and extended in a wedge shape from the end of the lower piece toward the rising piece 42 side. The upper piece 41, the lower piece 43, and the rising piece 42 are
Approximately U-shaped. The rising piece 42 is the upper piece 41
It has an inner height that allows two pieces of roofing material to intervene between and the lower piece 43. Further, the fixing metal fitting 4 is made wide enough to be inserted into the slit 2 of the roofing material A. The fixing fitting 4 is hooked onto the slit 2 located below the broken piece 12a along the roof slope, with the lower piece 43 in contact with the upper surface of the lowest layer roofing material A0 from below the roof slope. The upper piece 41 and the lower piece 43 sandwich the lower row roofing material and the upper row roofing material. At this time, the lower row roofing material has 4 diagonal pieces.
4 is held in a raised state, and the bonding by the adhesive 3 is strengthened. Repair in the case where the other side protrusion 12 (the left protrusion shown in FIG. 2) is broken is also carried out in the same manner as described above. The fixing fitting 4 is removed after the adhesive has solidified, but it may be left attached as is.

In addition to the embodiments described above, the fixture 4 may have a lower piece 45 integrally formed with the upper surface of the lower piece shown in FIG. 5 as the same wedge-shaped inclined surface as the inclined piece 44.

Further, as shown in FIG. 6, if the lower piece 43 and the diagonal piece 44 are formed wider than the width of the slit 2, it can be used even when the recessed part 11 is broken. In this case, the fixture 4 is slidably inserted into the gap C between the left and right roofing members from below along the roof slope, and clamps the side edge of the lower tile and the front edge of the upper tile.

The roofing material A is not limited to the shape of the above embodiment, but has at least one uneven portion on the front edge, and a slit is provided at the boundary of the uneven portion halfway from the front edge toward the rear of the roofing material. This also applies to other shapes as long as they are provided.

As described above, this invention is designed to prevent broken pieces from uneven parts of the roofing material.
After fixing the broken piece in its original position with adhesive on the end and back sides, fix the broken piece to the roof slope using a fixing bracket so that the rising piece is inserted into the slit of the tile or the gap between the left and right roofing materials. Since the broken piece is inserted from below to sandwich the broken piece and the lower row roofing material, the broken piece can be held in place until the adhesive on the broken piece hardens, and the roof can be removed while the broken piece is not solidified. It is prevented from sliding down along the slope and is properly joined in place. This prevents rainwater from entering through the joints and restores the building to its original state. Moreover, the fixing metal fittings have a simple structure, are provided at low cost, are convenient to carry, and are easy to install, and exhibit many effects.
