Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to secure the stability of the breaking operation of the damper, to remove a weight, to reduce the ventilation resistance of a vent passage and to mount the fire preventive damper in every direction, by providing two dampers openable in a hinge opened state within a cylindrical frame forming a vent passage and engaging a thermal deformation member made of a shape memory alloy with the damper. CONSTITUTION:Two dampers 4 supported by a shaft 6 in a hinge opened state and formed by half cutting a disc which opens or closes a vent passage 2, are provided in a frame body 1. A thermal deformation member 3 made of a shape memory alloy in the form of being folded into two parts is secured to the shaft 6 by means of a fastening screw 7, and both end pieces of the thermal deformation member are secured to the outer surface of the two dampers 4. When extraordinary high-temperature air makes ingress into the vent passage 2, the thermal deformation member 3 is deformed so as to form a plane, and two dampers 4 secured to the thermal deformation member 3 are hinged to open at an angle of 180 deg. around the shaft a secured to the frame 1 to interupt the vent passage 2.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, this type of fire damper has generally had a configuration as shown in FIG. 4, although no specific literature can be cited. That is, it is equipped with a cylindrical frame 11 with both ends open to form a ventilation passage 12, and a Danno:-14 that opens and closes the ventilation passage 12 is rotatably supported within the frame 11 by a shaft 16. A temperature fuse 13 is provided between one end of the damper 14 and the frame 11, and the damper 14 is normally held horizontally.

With this configuration, when the air flowing through the ventilation passage 12 becomes abnormally high temperature due to a fire outbreak, etc., the temperature fuse 13 is blown, the damper 14 is rotated by the weight 16 about the shaft 16, and the ventilation passage 12 is blocked. It was something that

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In such a conventional configuration, the reliability of the operation of the mechanism is not only questionable due to variations in the mounting position and operating temperature of the temperature fuse 13, but also the temperature sensing of the temperature fuse 13 Since the part is made of a eutectic alloy, its durability is extremely problematic, and if it is left in a ventilated area for several years after being installed, the eutectic alloy deteriorates and it no longer operates at the set operating temperature. There is a risk that it will not happen. Also, damper 1
Since the weight 15 that activates the weight 15 must be attached, the ventilation resistance loss is also large, and the device can only be installed in the direction in which gravity acts on the weight 16, that is, in a position where the frame 11 is horizontal. I couldn't get over it.

Function: With this configuration, when the air passing through the ventilation path reaches an abnormally high temperature, the two dampers are opened by the deformation of the heat deformable body, that is, the two dampers are deformed so that they form a single plane. This ensures that the shutoff operation is performed reliably.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the description of the embodiments above, according to the present invention, by opening and closing the damper using a shape memory alloy, it is possible to eliminate parts such as weights that reduce the area of ventilation passages, and the ventilation resistance is reduced. This has the effect of reducing loss, significantly improving the durability of the damper's cutoff mechanism, and allowing equipment to be mounted in any direction.
