Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the whole pump apparatus compact even with a low output operating pressure source for operating fully a pump while lightening the appara tus itself, by using an elastic contractive body deformed to expand the diameter by the supply and drain of pressurized fluid and produce the axial contractive force. CONSTITUTION:End walls 22a, 22b spaced from each other are provided on a pump frame and a pressure plate 26 is disposed slidably between the end walls. Further, between this pressure plate 26 and the respective end walls 22a, 22b are mounted elastic contractive bodies 28a, 28b deformed to expand the diameter by the supply and drain of pressurized fluid and be contracted axially. Further, between the pressure plate 26 and the respective end walls 22a, 22b are respectively disposed bag-like expansible members 44a, 44b. And pressurized fluid such as air is alternatively supplied to and drained from the elastic contractive bodies 28a, 28b to slide the pressure plate 26 for permitting the pumping action of contractive members 44a, 44b.

Detailed Description of the Invention (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a pump using an elastic contracting body that expands and deforms in diameter by supplying pressurized fluid and generates a contractile force in the axial direction. Therefore, the cylinder was required to have a wall thickness sufficient to withstand the pressure of compressed air supplied and discharged, dimensional accuracy to allow sliding of the piston, and wear resistance. On the other hand, the piston also needed to have sufficient strength and wear resistance so that it could slide inside the cylinder without being deformed by the compressed air.

For this reason, a pump equipped with a cylinder of a certain wall thickness that allows the piston to move without being deformed by external forces, and a piston with sufficient strength, inevitably increases in weight and occupies less space. The problem was that it was growing. In addition, there is energy loss due to the sliding resistance of the piston seal provided on the outer periphery of the piston, operational problems due to stake slip at low speeds caused by this sliding resistance, and leakage of compressed air at the seal. There are manufacturing and cost problems due to processing accuracy.

There is also a pump that pumps liquid by supplying and discharging compressed air from the supply and discharge port 13 of the pump. This type of pump can reduce the weight of the pump itself, and there are no problems caused by sliding resistance. The problem is that air consumption is large and efficiency is low.

(Means for Solving the Problems) To achieve this object, the pulsating pump of the present invention substantially divides the internal space of the frame into two parts having mutually spaced end walls.
The pressure plates that separate the parts are attached slidably in the direction of the end walls,
A set of at least two elastic contracting bodies that expand and deform in diameter by supplying and discharging pressurized fluid and generate a contractile force in the axial direction are arranged facing each other with the pressure plate interposed therebetween, and each elastic contracting body is One end is fixed to the end wall and the other end is fixed to the pressure plate, and a suction port and a discharge port made of rubber or rubber-like elastic material and provided with a check valve are provided in each internal space divided into two by the pressure. A part of each bag-like member is connected to a frame and a pressure plate, and pressurized fluid is alternately supplied and discharged to each of the opposing elastic contractile bodies by a pressurized fluid supply and discharge means. .

(Function) When compressed air is supplied to one elastic contraction body and the compressed air is discharged from the other elastic contraction body using the pressurized fluid supply/discharge means, the elastic contraction body receiving the compressed air expands in diameter. deformed,
Contracts in the axial direction. On the other hand, the elastic contractible body from which the compressed air has been discharged contracts in diameter and expands in the axial direction. By the way, one end of these elastic contracting bodies is fixed to the end wall of the frame, and the other ends are connected to each other via a pressure plate, so that the pressure plate is compressed by the contraction force of the elastic contracting body that performs a contraction movement. Move toward the end wall to which one end of the elastic contractile body is fixed. Therefore, the bladder-like telescopic member, which is connected in part to the relatively close pressure plate and, for example, to the end wall of the frame, is compressed, and the liquid contained therein is pumped through the outlet. It will be forced outward. Note that since the suction port is provided with a check valve that prevents the liquid from flowing out through the suction port, the liquid within the elastic member is always discharged from the discharge port. On the other hand, another telescoping member connected to the other end wall of the frame and the pressure plate expands in response to the movement of the pressure plate, and the liquid flows through the suction port into this bag-shaped expansion and contraction member. It is sucked into the member. Note that since the discharge port is provided with a check valve, the discharged liquid will not flow back into the elastic member through the discharge port.

Next, the supply/discharge means discharges the compressed air from the elastic contracting body supplied with compressed air and supplies the compressed air to the other elastic contracting body, the other elastic contracting body expands in diameter and contracts, and the one elastic The contractile body expands.

Therefore, the pressure plate moves in the opposite direction, i.e. towards the end wall on the side receiving the supply of compressed air, and presses the telescopic member disposed between the end wall and the pressure plate and containing the liquid. .

Therefore, the liquid within the expandable member is pumped out from its discharge port in response to the movement of the pressure plate. On the other hand, the middle 4 members related to the elastic contracting body that expands are partially connected to the end wall of the frame, so they expand in response to the movement of the pressure plate, and draw liquid into the interior from the suction port. Inhale. Note that check valves are provided at the inlet and outlet ports of each expandable member, so that liquid will not flow backwards.

In this manner, the fluid can be pumped by supplying and discharging means by alternately supplying compressed air to each elastic contractile body.

This situation will be explained using FIG. 3. The supply/discharge means 50 supplies compressed air from the operating pressure source 52 to the elastic contracting body 28b via the conduit 54, and discharges the compressed air inside the elastic contracting body 28a. As a result, the elastic contraction body 28b expands in diameter and contracts in the axial direction, and the elastic contraction body 28a contracts in diameter and extends in the axial direction, so the pressure plate 26 moves in the direction indicated by arrow A in the figure. As a result, the telescoping member 44a on the end wall 22a side expands and draws liquid into its interior from the associated suction lower.

(Effects of the Invention) As detailed above, the pulsating pump of the present invention uses an air bag type elastic contracting body that expands and deforms in diameter by supplying and discharging pressurized fluid and generates a contractile force in the axial direction. Since the pressure plate is pressed and the liquid is pumped, the weight of the device itself can be reduced compared to a pump using a cylinder piston, and there is no leakage of pressurized fluid at the sliding part of the cylinder piston. Also, since there is no problem of energy loss due to sliding resistance, the energy of the pressurized fluid can be used effectively. Moreover, since the elastic contractile body has a larger output than a cylinder-piston device of the same diameter, the pump can function sufficiently even with a low-output operating pressure source, making it possible to downsize the entire pump device. Become.

1. A frame having end walls that are spaced apart from each other, a pressure plate that is slidably attached to the frame in the direction of the end walls and substantially divides the internal space of the frame into two, and is arranged to face each other with the pressure plate interposed therebetween. A set of at least two elastic contracting bodies, each having one end fixed to the end wall and the other end fixed to the pressure plate, which expands and deforms in diameter by supplying and discharging pressurized fluid to generate a contractile force in the axial direction; A bag-shaped bag made of rubber or rubber-like elastic material is arranged in an internal space divided into two by a plate, has a suction port and a discharge port each provided with a check valve, and is connected to the frame and the pressure plate. 1. A pulsating pump using elastic contracting bodies, comprising an elastic member and supply/discharge means for alternately supplying and discharging pressurized fluid to and from each elastic contractible body.
