In order to tension and bias the two members, a coil spring is often placed between the two members. Such a conventional coil spring usually has engaging portions formed integrally with each other at both ends thereof, each of which is bent into a substantially C-shape. and,
These engaging portions are attached by being locked to locking protrusions such as pins or locking recesses provided on each member.

However, in such a simple engagement part that is simply bent in a C-shape, the engagement part tends to be plastically deformed due to the large tensile force of the coil spring or over time. The parts were opened and the engagement easily came off. Moreover, especially if the engagement of one end becomes disengaged for some reason, the biasing force of the coil spring is lost, making it easy for the engagement of the other end to disengage. For this reason, there is a risk that the entire coil spring may fall off from its mounting position and be lost, or that the fallen coil spring may come into contact with a live part inside the device and cause the live part to shoot out. It was even hot. Therefore, in order to prevent such falling off, conventionally, after installing the coil spring, the engaging part of the coil spring or the engaged part of the mating member is crushed, or the two are glued together. It was fixed. For this reason, the installation work became very troublesome and the workability was poor.

The present invention was developed in view of these problems, and its purpose is to reliably prevent the coil spring from coming off or falling off, even with a relatively simple mounting structure.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the coil spring 1 of this embodiment consists of a coil-shaped main body 2 and engaging parts 3 and 4 provided at both ends of the main body 2, respectively. , these main body portion 2 and engaging portion 3,
4 are all integrally constructed from one linear body 5. As shown in the figure, one of the engaging parts 3 is formed by bending an end of a linear body 5 into a double coil shape having an axis substantially perpendicular to the axial direction of the main body part 2. It has a coiled engagement part. The other engaging part 4 is a C-shaped engaging part similar to the conventional one, which is formed by bending the end of a linear body 5 into a substantially C-shape.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the coil-shaped engaging portion 3 includes a substantially T-shaped engaged member 8 disposed so as to be substantially colinear with the longitudinal direction of the coil spring 1. It is installed by engaging with. The distal end portion 9 of this engaged member 8 is connected to the pitch d of the coiled engaging portion 3.
It has a larger width w than .

Therefore, in order to attach the coiled engagement part 3 to the engaged member 8, first deform the coiled engagement part 3 in the direction of arrow A in FIG. The tip 9 of the engaged member 8 is inserted between the pitches. At this time, if a tapered portion 10 as shown in the figure is provided at the tip of the engaged member 8,
The above-described insertion operation can be easily performed by simply pressing the coil-shaped engaging portion 3 against the tapered portion 10.

When the distal end portion 9 is inserted, the coiled engaging portion 3 moves back in the direction of arrow B in FIG. 2, that is, in the opposite direction to the direction of arrow A in FIG. 1, due to its elastic restoring force. A locking surface 11 provided at the rear end of the tip 9
By locking the inner circumferential surface of the coiled engagement portion 3, the coil spring 1 is prevented from coming off. At this time, if the locking surface 11 of the distal end portion 9 is formed into a tapered surface so as to form an acute angle with the main body portion 12 of the engaged member 8 as shown in the figure, it is more effective to prevent this slippage. Further, a protrusion may be provided at the outer end of this locking surface 11.

With the above configuration, the direction of deformation of the coiled engaging portion 3 for disengagement (arrow A in FIG.
direction) and the direction of the force that the inner circumferential surface of the coiled engagement portion 3 receives from the locking surface 11 of the engaged member 8 due to the tensile force of the coil spring 1 (direction of arrow C in FIG. 2). (direction of arrow D) are substantially perpendicular to each other.
For this reason, the coiled engagement portion 3 is connected to the coil spring 1.
Even if it is subjected to a fairly large tensile force, the engagement will not come off. Moreover, since the engaged member 8 is held between the pitches of the coiled engaging portion 3,
For example, even if the C-shaped engaging portion 4 is disengaged, the coil spring 1 will not fall off from the engaged member 8.

Although the present invention has been described above with reference to one embodiment, the above-mentioned embodiment can be modified in various ways based on the technical idea of the present invention. For example, in the above embodiment, one end of the coil spring 1 is provided with a C-shaped engaging portion 4 similar to the conventional one, but it is also possible to provide coil-shaped engaging portions at both ends of the coil spring.
Further, various shapes can be used for the engaged member to be engaged by the coil-shaped engaging portion 3, for example,
It may also be a pin with a mushroom-shaped tip or a pin with protrusions on both sides. In the latter case, the relative angle between the engaged member 8 and the coil spring 1 can be changed in various ways.

As explained above, in the present invention, at least one end of a coil spring body is integrally provided with a coil-shaped engaging portion having an axis substantially perpendicular to the axial direction of the coil spring body. The engaged member is configured to be sandwiched between the pitches of the coiled engaging portion. Therefore,
Even if a coil spring receives a considerable tensile force, it is extremely unlikely that the engagement will disengage.
Further, the coil spring rarely falls off from the engaged member. Furthermore, since the structure is simple and processing is easy, the cost is low.
