Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a drain water from being flowed out into an air conditioner and simplify a treatment of the drain water by a method wherein an extremity end of a drain hose of the air conditioner is connected to a suction hose of a deodor device having upward gradient and the extremity end of the drain hose is bent toward the down side of the air. CONSTITUTION:Drain water produced in a refrigeration cycle is passed through a dew pan 3 at the bottom part of an evaporator 2, a drain outlet 4, drain coupling 11, drain hose 10 and a suction hose 8 and then discharged into the toilet bowl 12. The odor in the toilet bowl 12 is sucked from the suction hose 8 under operation of the motor 6 and the fan 7 of the deodor device 5 and discharged out of the room through the fan 7 at the discharging hose 9. Therefore, a decolorization in the washing and cleaning tank and the hose part or the like are not clogged. Since the suction or discharging hose of the deodor device is also used as a drain pipe, the constitution of the drain piping is simple and an excellent appearance can not be spoiled and a space can be saved and a drain piping work is eliminated.
