Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost by using an ultraviolet ray sensitive body having selective spectral sensitivity as a photosensitive body, opposing an ultraviolet ray emission type CRT thereto to expose, and forming an image on the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:On an emission surface of a CRT1, an ultraviolet ray emission type fluorescent material is applied, the emitted ultraviolet rays thereon are converged to form an image on an ultraviolet ray sensitive body 3 having a selective spectral sensitivity by a lens 2 to expose. On a neck section of the CRT1, an electron gun 6 is arranged and electronic beams radiated from the electron gun 6 are converged on a focusing coil 7 to collide against a fluorescent surface 9 and excite the ultraviolet ray fluorescent body and emit light. Since the ultraviolet ray fluorescent material is very small, the electronic beams are scanned by a deflecting coil 8, thereby an image having a high resolution can be formed.

Non-impact recording devices have recently attracted attention because they generate little noise during recording. Among them, the CRTR printer, which is the simplest to use with hard copy ink and can easily handle color printing, is an extremely powerful recording device, and has been commercialized using various methods.
It is still being put into practical use.

The conventional pre-recording device is comprised of a CRT section that serves as a light source and a camera section that holds a recording medium and photographs the light emitting surface of the CRT. Silver salt photographic materials are used as recording media, and they exhibit excellent gradation reproducibility. For color hard copies, instant color films are also used, which have a simplified manufacturing process.

Means for Solving Problem C] The present invention is a recording device that uses an ultraviolet photoreceptor having selective spectral sensitivity as a photoreceptor, exposes the photoreceptor to an ultraviolet emitting type CRT facing it, and forms an image on the photoreceptor. It has features such as low cost, low cost, speed, simple configuration, quietness, and maintenance-free operation.

That is, when the ultraviolet photoreceptor is made into ultraviolet light-sensitive paper, for example, the cost is lower than that of silver salt photographic film. The ultraviolet-sensitive paper is published in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 58-88739. Japanese Patent Publication No. 59-30537
It has a configuration such as that seen in UI9P3219446 and has a spectral sensitivity to ultraviolet rays, and is made of an organic material and does not contain expensive metals such as silver, so it can be supplied at low cost. Furthermore, in the development and fixing process of photographs, chemical treatment is required not only for silver salt photographic films but also for instant films, whereas UV-sensitive paper requires pressure application,
Since the developing and fixing process is performed using means such as heating, image formation can be performed easily and at low cost.

The ultraviolet light-sensitive paper 13, which has been exposed to light to selectively harden the capsules, comes into contact with the developer paper 14 coated with a color developer, and is conveyed while being pressed by a pressure roller 15. Due to the above-mentioned characteristics of the microcapsules, the unexposed microcapsules are destroyed by the pressure of the pressure roller 15, and the colorless leuco dye flows out from inside, which reacts with the color developer applied to the surface of the color developer paper 14 opposite to it and becomes visible. An image is formed on the developer paper.

For example, in the case of forming a red visible image, microcapsules made of an ultraviolet curing resin filled with a colorless leuco dye that develops cyan when exposed to a color developer are exposed and cured. Then, the unexposed capsules are destroyed when the ultraviolet-sensitive paper 13 comes into contact with the developer paper 14 and is conveyed while being pressed by the pressure roller 15, and the colorless leuco dye that flows out comes into contact with the developer on the developer paper, producing magenta and yellow. In Example 1.2, a part of the image is CR due to straight line growth.
Since the image is displayed on T, the printer requires sub-scanning to move the photosensitive paper, but the apparatus in this third embodiment does not require sub-scanning because the image is exposed on the surface. Therefore, the configuration can be simplified. It also has the advantage that high-quality images can be obtained.

Embodiment 4 The embodiment shown in FIG. 6 is another embodiment, in which instead of using a 3-wavelength emitting line CRT 15, a 3-wavelength emitting line CRT 15 is used.
This is an example in which RT 18 is used as an optical writing device. The process of exposure and visible image formation is the same as in Example 2. One of the features of this device is that it can be easily configured using a single flat CRT, and does not require sub-scanning to move the photosensitive paper.

As described above, in the recording apparatus according to the present invention, the only movable part for optically writing an image on photosensitive paper is the recording paper conveyance system, and the only noise generated during image formation is the sound of recording paper conveyance. A high quality recording device can be realized. In addition, the recording device of the present invention has a simple configuration consisting of an optical writing device and a recording paper transport system, and the only consumable parts are the photoreceptor and developer paper, resulting in low running costs and high reliability that does not require maintenance. A printer can realize this.
