Due to the suction force, a dust-containing airflow is sucked into the dust collecting bag 6 from the air intake port 4 of the front lid 3. The dust collection bag 6 is made of air-permeable door paper, etc., and collects almost 100% of dust of 10 μm or more, but the collection rate is poor when the dust is 10 μm or less.
When it is ~5 μm, it becomes about 60%, and it flows out from the dust collection bag 5 along with the air current. Reference numeral 6 denotes a fine dust filter installed behind the dust collection bag 5, which is designed to collect fine dust leaking from the dust collection bag 5 using electrostatic force.
For micrometer-sized dust, it exhibits a collection effect of nearly 90X.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In recent years, indoor dust has attracted attention from the perspective of health and hygiene, and it has been pointed out that mold and dust mites in particular are the cause of allergic diseases such as rhinitis and bronchial asthma. In conventional vacuum cleaners, most of the indoor dust with a size of 10 μm or less is discharged indoors from the vacuum cleaner as exhaust along with the airflow in the dust collection bag 5. Since these particles are spread indoors and become unsanitary, a structure has been devised that uses electrostatic force to collect fine dust, as shown in the above-mentioned conventional example. However, the fine dust that has passed through the dust collection bag 5 contains a large amount of mold and bacteria, and these are collected and accumulated in the fine dust filter 6, where they multiply. This has the disadvantage that it generates odors and flows backwards with the passing air, eventually polluting the indoor air.

Therefore, the present invention kills the mold and bacteria collected by the fine dust filter and prevents mold and bacteria from coming out in the exhaust air of the vacuum cleaner.

Function The present invention has a multi-layered electrostatic filter that collects fine dust and a sterilizing filter, so the electrostatic filter collects most of the mold and bacteria dust that is 0.5 to 1 μm or larger. Even a sterilizing filter still has a trapping effect, so it can trap mold and bacteria.

The mold and bacteria collected by the sterilizing filter will die, and the mold and bacteria collected by the electrostatic filter will disappear because the sterilizing filter is in contact with the electrostatic filter. Once they begin to proliferate, they will die if they touch the sterilizing filter, and eventually their proliferation will be suppressed and they will all die.

1A is a dust collection bag installed in the dust collection chamber 16, and is composed of an opening part 18 and a bag material 19 made of E paper. The opening paper portion 18 is fitted with the intake port rubber 14 so that the intake port 13
A suction port 2o communicating with the bag material 19 is formed to suck dust-containing air into the bag material 19 and collect dust. 2
Reference numeral 1 denotes a filter frame attached to the bottom of the lower body in the dust collection chamber 16, into which a fine dust filter 22 is press-fitted and fixed. In FIG. 2, the fine dust filter 22 is constructed by providing sterilizing filters 24 at the front and rear so as to sandwich an electrostatic filter 23 therebetween. The electrostatic filter 23 is a nonwoven fabric made of synthetic resin fibers such as polypropylene with a diameter of 20 to 30 μm, and is obtained by special processing to charge the fibers themselves with electrostatic force. It has a structure that attracts and collects it. On the other hand, the sterilizing filter 2414 is made of a non-woven fabric using materials such as IJ ester and rayon, and is constructed by attaching a chemical solution such as a bactericidal agent or antibacterial agent to the surface of a single fiber of the non-woven fabric.
When molds and bacteria come into contact with the surface of single fibers,
It destroys these cells, prevents them from reproducing, and even causes them to die. 26 is a ventilation hole formed in the lower body 7, which communicates the electric blower 11 with the dust collection chamber 16.

In addition, the collection efficiency of fine dust of 10 μm or less changes depending on the size, and if it is 0.5 to 6 μm, the collection efficiency is about 50%, and some of it leaks out of the dust collection bag 16 along with the passing air. . This leaked dust contains fungi such as mold,
It contains bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, and if it is discharged directly from the vacuum cleaner as an exhaust stream, it will contaminate the indoor air. Therefore, a fine dust filter 22 is installed to collect this fine dust. I have to. Fine dust filter 22
The sterilizing filter 24 is provided on the front and back sides, and the electrostatic filter 23 is sandwiched between the sterilizing filter 24.
Then, fine dust is collected by inertial dust collection, and electrostatic filter 2
3 performs more efficient collection using both electrostatic force and inertial dust collection, and obtains a collection efficiency of about 90 for dust of 0.5 to 5 μm. Here, the cells of molds and bacteria that come into direct contact with the sterilizing filter 24 are destroyed, their growth is inhibited, and they finally die, while the molds and bacteria collected by the electrostatic filter 23 grow.

As they grow, they come into contact with the sterilizing filter 24, which inhibits their growth and proliferation, and they do not increase beyond a certain limit, so mold and bacteria are discharged into the vacuum cleaner along with the exhaust stream. You can prevent this from happening.

FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the fine dust filter 22.
' is the electrostatic filter 23' and the sterilizing filter 24'.
It consists of layers, both of which are made of non-woven fabric. Then, needle punching is performed from the sterilizing filter 24' side toward the electrostatic filter 23', and as a result, countless fibers of the sterilizing filter 24' enter into the nonwoven fabric of the electrostatic filter 23' and become entangled with each other. An electrostatic filter 23' and a sterilizing filter 24' are integrated. Therefore, it is highly effective to inhibit the growth and proliferation of molds and bacteria collected by the electrostatic filter 23'.

Note that in the first embodiment, the electrostatic filter 23
is sandwiched between the sterilizing filter 24, but this is not necessarily necessary. For example, if the electrostatic filter 23 is made of a nonwoven fabric with fibers of 10 μm or less, the ultrathin electrostatic filter 23 However, it is possible to obtain high dust collection efficiency, and therefore, by superimposing the sterilizing filter 24 on this ultra-thin electrostatic filter 23, mold and bacteria can grow inside the electrostatic filter 23.

増殖を阻止する効果は充分発揮できるものである。The effect of inhibiting proliferation can be sufficiently exhibited.

Effects of the Invention As described above, in the present invention, a fine dust filter is constructed by stacking an electrostatic filter and a sterilizing filter, so that mold and bacteria can be collected by the electrostatic filter, and mold and bacteria can be prevented from growing and multiplying by the sterilizing filter. It can kill fleas by direct contact, and this has the effect of creating a clean living environment by preventing mold and bacteria from being discharged from the stain vacuum cleaner.
