A glaze is applied to the tile base for decoration and other surface protection purposes, but when producing tiles in large quantities, the tiles are carried on a conveyor and the conveyor is passed through a glazing machine. The glaze is now applied on a regular basis. This glazing machine forms a sealed space consisting of a chamber surrounded by a casing, and glaze is sprayed from a glaze injection nozzle swingably disposed above this chamber, and the glaze is carried by a conveyor and passes through the chamber. The glaze is applied evenly to the tiles. In this case, the glaze is sprayed from the front and rear openings of the glazing machine and scattered around, so a hood is usually provided to protect the working environment.

Since there are many types of glazes, it is necessary to change the glaze from time to time depending on the properties of the tiles, but in this case the hood must be removed to remove the previously used glaze. However, conventional hoods are troublesome to remove, requiring a lot of time and trouble. Additionally, in connection with this, it has become an obstacle when adjusting and repairing various machines such as conveyors located below the hood.

The hood according to the present invention is disposed adjacent to the openings formed at the front and rear of the glazing machine 10 configured as described above. In other words, a pair of girders 1 placed opposite each other
4, 14, a tunnel-shaped rib member 44 is installed so as to straddle the conveyor 16 as shown in FIG.
An appropriate number (three in this embodiment) are fixed upright at predetermined intervals. Since this rib member 44 serves as an internal framework that supports the synthetic resin sheet described later, it is recommended to use a metal material that will not be corroded by glaze or the like and will not rust. Standard flat iron, round steel, synthetic resin pipes, etc. may also be used. Next, an exhaust pipe mounting plate 46 is fixedly arranged at a predetermined position on one side of the plurality of rib members 44. A predetermined number of through holes are bored at appropriate intervals in this exhaust pipe mounting plate 46, and an exhaust pipe connecting pipe 48 is fitted and fixed into these through holes as shown in FIG. (To which the exhaust pipe described later is connected). A synthetic resin sheet 50 is removably attached to the tunnel-shaped framework constituted by the rib member 44. That is, a soft and highly flexible long transparent synthetic resin sheet 50 is prepared, and a mounting member 52 made of an angle member with an L-shaped cross section is fixed to one end of the sheet, and this mounting member 52 is shown in FIG. As shown, it is attached to the girder member 14 having a U-shaped cross section so that it will not come off. Then, the synthetic resin sheet 50 with one end attached to the girder member 14 is turned over in the direction of the arrow shown in FIG. 4 to completely cover the frame composed of the rib members 44. An exhaust hole 54 is provided in the synthetic resin sheet 50 at a location corresponding to the pipe 48, so that the pipe 48 protrudes outward through the exhaust hole 54 when the sheet is attached. In addition, a flat weight 56 is arranged and fixed at the other end of the synthetic resin sheet 50 (that is, the end where the mounting member 52 is not provided), and the synthetic resin sheet 50
When the synthetic resin sheet 50 is attached to the rib member 44, the synthetic resin sheet 50 is stably tensioned and fixed on the rib member 44 by the weight of the weight 56. Of course, this weight 56 is employed as one means for tightly fixing the synthetic resin sheet 50 onto the frame, and other suitable fixing means such as a snap spring may be employed.

In this way, the synthetic resin sheet 50 is attached to the rib member 44.
After forming a hood that defines a tunnel-like space inside, one end of a flexible exhaust pipe 58 formed with a bellows part is connected to the pipe 48, as shown in FIG. In addition, the other end of this exhaust pipe 58 is
The exhaust main pipes 60 are horizontally supported by the pillars 12 and connected to a negative pressure source (not shown), and are connected to branch pipes 62 corresponding to the exhaust main pipes 60, respectively. In addition,
It is preferable that the exhaust pipe 58 is provided with a damper (not shown) for controlling the amount of suction air.
Further, the net conveyor 16 extending in the longitudinal direction below the hood and glazing machine 10 has a ship bottom-shaped saucer 64 below the upper net conveyor 16, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4. The glaze that drips as droplets after glazing is collected in this tray 64 and discharged to the outside via a drain 66. Note that reference numeral 68 in the figure indicates a tile that is glazed and conveyed on the conveyor 16. In addition, as shown in FIG. 2, a synthetic resin sheet 5
A gap is left in front of the tunnel-shaped hood formed by 0 to allow the conveyor 16 carrying the tiles 68 to freely run, and the other part is closed by the closing plate 70.
The inner space defined by the inner space is covered with the inner space so as to facilitate the formation of negative pressure.

Next, the functions and effects of this embodiment will be explained.
The glaze sprayed from the oscillating glazing nozzle 22 in the glazing machine 10 is evenly applied to the tile substrate 68 carried on the conveyor 16, which tile 68 is then placed adjacent to the opening 10 of the glazing machine. It passes together with the conveyor 16 through the arranged hood according to the present invention. At this time, the fine dust of the glaze scattered in the glazing machine 10 enters the hood through the opening of the glazing machine 10 and stays there, but the exhaust gas that communicates with the exhaust main pipe 60 connected to a negative pressure source By sweeping the inside of the hood through the pipe 58, this glaze dust is efficiently sucked and removed to the outside. Moreover, since the hood of this embodiment forms a space surrounded by the synthetic resin sheet 50, the saucer 64 and the closing plate 70 disposed at the lower part of the interior, it is easy to create negative pressure inside, and when suction is performed, This has the advantage that only a small amount of air is required.
Therefore, a model with a small capacity can be selected as the exhaust fan used as the negative pressure source, which reduces equipment costs and contributes to energy saving. Furthermore, the synthetic resin sheet 50 constituting the hood cover can be easily peeled off from the rib member 44 to fully open the inside of the hood as shown in FIG. can be done extremely easily. As a result of being able to easily open the inside of the hood in this way, there is an advantage that daily inspection and repair of internal equipment such as a conveyor is also simple.
In addition, since the hood is formed in an arched shape, even if the fine particles of glaze that stays inside the hood condense and adhere to the inner surface of the synthetic resin sheet, this glaze will flow down along the inner surface of the sheet, resulting in so-called "dropping". Since there is nothing to do, there is no possibility of producing defective products such as tiles after glazing. Further, since the hood is made of a synthetic resin sheet, rust does not occur, and therefore, there is no possibility that rust will flake off on the tiles and cause product defects. In addition, since this synthetic resin sheet is made transparent, the glazed state of the tiles carried by the conveyor inside the hood can be visually observed from the outside at any time, which has the effect of further improving product quality control. play.
