Description
【考案の詳細な説明】
本考案は磁気テープリール、特に磁気テープリ
ールにおけるテープ巻ハブ(巻芯)に関する。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a magnetic tape reel, and particularly to a tape winding hub in a magnetic tape reel.
従来のオープンリールにはプラスチツクでフラ
ンジとハブを一体成形したものと、巻ハブと両面
フランジを別々に製作した上ねじ等で組立てたセ
パレートタイプのものとに大別される。全プラス
チツク製のリールは一般に精度が低い。従つて高
精度のオープンリールはセパレートタイプであ
る。すなわち従来のセパレートタイプのオープン
リールでは第1図及び第2図に示すように一定厚
さの環状巻ハブ1を硬質プラスチツク成形体、ア
ルミダイカスト等から製作し、場合により外周面
に磁気テープを摩擦で付着させるための合成ゴム
被覆2を施す。なお3は装置の回転軸(図示せ
ず)の突子に嵌合させるための切欠きである。ハ
ブ1の両面には磁気テープの側面を拘束するため
のフランジ4,4′(第2図にのみ図示)を取付
ける。フランジ4,4′の取付けを行うために
は、第1図に示すようにハブ1の複数個所にねじ
孔5を切り、これに対応してフランジ4,4′に
皿孔を形成し、皿頭ねじによりこれらのフランジ
をハブ1に締着している。ところが、ハブは通常
ダイキヤストかプラスチツク成型で作るが、ダイ
キヤストの場合は湯流れ跡、ノツクピン痕等、プ
ラスチツクの場合はウエルドノズル口痕、ひけあ
と、ノツクピン痕、強度補強のリブ等をさけるこ
とが出来ないために凸起状となるところは肉ヌス
ミを行なつたり、またプラスチツク成型の場合は
厚みを出来るだけ均一にして成型ひずみ、ひけを
とるように肉ヌスミをしている。従つて、透明な
フランジを用いたのではこれらの欠点を隠すこと
ができないので、従来のフランジはアルミニウム
板などの金属や不透明プラスチツク板から形成さ

従つて、本考案の目的はこのような欠点のない
磁気テープリールを提供することである。本考案
の巻ハブの両面に透明フランジを取付けて成る磁
気テープリールにおいて、巻ハブの両面を溝形に
成形し、この溝に不透明のプラスチツク製環状挿
入体を嵌合したことを特徴とする。本考案よる
と、ハブの両面の成形時の欠陥は隠されるから、
透明フランジが使え、また挿入体は自由な色や自
由な意匠を有するものが使え、また挿入体をやや
弾性のあるプラスチツク体から形成すれば、フラ
ンジのねじ締めの際にプラスチツク体の弾性を利
用してフランジに局部的な歪を与えないできれい
な外観に仕上げしかも緩みのない締着が可能にな
る。またハブの面には従来問題となつていた肉盗
みやリブ立て等が本案では問題にしないで自由に
出来て、ハブの性能を上げることができ、さらに

説明する。第3図はフランジを省略したテープ巻
ハブの正面図、第4図は第3図のA−A′断面図
でフランジを取付けたもの、及び第5図は第3図
のB−B′拡大断面図でフランジを取付けたものを
示す。磁気テープリール10は巻ハブ11とその
両面にねじ止めされた透明フランジ14,14′
とから成る。ハブ11はアルミニウムダイカスト
等の金属成形体、または硬質のプラスチツク成形
体から成る環状部材である。ハブ11の両面に
は、透明フランジの面と一致する面内に延在する
内外縁部12,16で画成されるほぼ一定深さの
溝17が環状に形成されている。なおハブ11の
内径は回転軸(図示せず)を受入れる寸法になつ
ていて、軸の突子に嵌合する切欠き13を有し、
これに対応して内縁部12が屈曲している。ハブ
の溝17の底には成形用のゲート痕、ひけ、その
他歪などが残つていても良い。さらにハブの円方
向に複数のねじ挿通孔15が形成されてている。
溝17の深さと同一またはわずかに厚目でしかも
溝の形状と同一の形状を有する環状のプラスチツ
ク挿入体18がハブの両面の溝17に嵌着されて
いる。挿入体18の材質はやや弾性のあるABS
等のプラスチツク材から製作するか、場合により
光沢アルミ板などで製作する。またこの環状挿入
体18は着色したものでも良いし表面に意匠を印
刷したものでも良い。挿通孔15に対応する部分
は挿入すべきねじの外径よりもやや大きい径を有
する貫通孔19を備えている。透明フランジ1
4,14′はハブ10の内径に一致する中心孔を
有する円板状の透明体であり、挿入体11と同じ
個所に同じ寸法の貫通孔を有している。透明フラ
ンジ14,14′は第5図に示すように挿入体1
8を介してハブ11へねじ20,20′によつて結合
される。挿入体18はある程度クツシヨン作用を
与え、ねじの締着を助け、また孔15のまわりに
おけるフランジの歪を防ぐ緩衝作用をする。挿入
体18は不透明体であるから仕上りがきれいで、
これを着色したり意匠を施すことで美しい外観の
テープリールに仕上げることができるなど、既述
