In outdoor beer halls installed on the rooftops of buildings, large beach umbrellas are placed in the center of the tables, not only to block the midday sun, but also to enhance the atmosphere of the place. At night, a chimney with bare light bulbs has been set up to illuminate the area and to alert people to the existence of the beer hall.

However, since the above-mentioned lights strung between these poles are located higher than the beach umbrellas, they have the disadvantage that the light is blocked by the beach umbrellas and the table top becomes dark. This has the disadvantage that power consumption increases as a result of this increase, making it uneconomical.

As shown in FIGS. 1, 2a and 2b, and 3, the beach umbrella A of this invention has a center part larger than the diameter of the pole so that a removable pole 1 can be inserted through the joint means 2. A spherical metal shade 4 with a mounting hole 3 of a slightly larger diameter, and a mesa-shaped translucent synthetic resin with a mounting hole 5 slightly smaller than the diameter of the shade and a drainage hole 5a around it. A cover 6 made of (milky white acrylic resin), a mounting sleeve 9 with screws 7 on one end and screws 7 and grooves 8 on the other end in order to attach the cover 6 to the pole 1 via the shade 4; It consists of a pair of flat nuts 10, a nut 11, a tapered nut 12, a rubber bushing 13, a plurality of sockets 14, a switch 15, and a curl cord 16 that are attached to the shade. Note that the outside of the comb-shaped divided portion of the mounting sleeve 9 by the groove 8 is tapered from the thread forming end to the end, and is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the tapered nut 12. It faces the tapered portion and is bent inward depending on the amount of screwing of the nut 12.

These components include a pair of shades 4, with a socket 14 attached to one shade 4 and a switch 15 attached to the other shade 4, as shown in FIGS. 2a, b and 4 a to d. A wire 17 is routed between them, and a curl cord 16 with a socket 18 is connected so that it can be connected to the socket 19 of the curl cord 16 that has been placed inside the pole 1 in advance and pulled out from the transaction hole. There is. Next, the shade 4 is made to sandwich the cover 6, and a mounting sleeve 9 is inserted into the mounting hole 3 of the shade, and a flat nut 10 is screwed into this sleeve to fix the shade to this sleeve. Furthermore, with nuts 11 and tapered nuts 12 attached to both ends of this sleeve 9, the pole 1 is inserted into the sleeve, and the bushings 13 attached to the pole 1 are inserted between the sleeve and the pole at appropriate positions. By tightening the tapered nut 12, the tapered portion of the groove 8 is bent inward along with the sleeve, thereby fixing the lighting fixture 20. After this, curl cord 16 on this lighting equipment side.
Both curl cords are connected by a socket 18 attached to the pole 1 and a socket 19 attached to the curl cord 16 drawn out through the inside of the pole 1. As shown in FIG. 5, the pole 1 is separable with a coupling means 2, so a socket 21,
22 is designed so that the curl cord and the captire cord can be separated together with the separation of the mounting pole. Sockets 18, 19 and 21, 22 are the sixth
As shown in the figure, it is a waterproof socket, and the male pin is located inside the housing, making it easy to handle.

The beach umbrella A of this invention is constructed as described above, and in use, as shown in Fig. 1, the pole 1 is placed on a table 24 with a hole 23 in the center.
is inserted, the umbrella portion 25 is fully opened, and the captire cord C pulled out from near the lower end of the pole 1 is connected to a power source for use. That is, by turning on the switch 15 in this state, the socket 14 is turned on.
The light bulb 26 attached to the shade cover 6 lights up.
The table 24 is brightly illuminated by the light that passes through it and the light that is reflected by the umbrella.

As described above, this invention includes a shade member that can be fixed at any position on a pole with an attachment means, one or more sockets attached to the shade member, and a socket or sockets attached to the shade member. It is equipped with a translucent cover and a cord that is attached at one end to the socket via a switch and that is passed through the pole and pulled out from near the end of the pole, so that any part of the pole can be illuminated. Therefore, the illuminance on the table surface can be adjusted freely depending on the number of sockets and the wattage of the light bulbs, and since the lighting fixture is located directly above the table, the shadows of the people surrounding the table will not fall on the table. It is always bright, and since the installation position of this lighting fixture can be changed along the pole, there is no problem in closing the umbrella part, and it can be used outdoors. The cover can be colored or its shape can be made into a flower shape. This has the effect of creating a more moody atmosphere.
