Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at reducing the occupied area of a compressor and at reducing noise due to the vibration of the compressor, by disposing a vibration rubber insulator having a small size in the heightwise direction of the compressor and having a small spring constant in the rotational direction thereof, between the compressor and the base thereof. CONSTITUTION:A U-like support plate 9 is fixed to the bottom surface of a compressor. A vibration rubber insulator 10 has a groove section in which the support plate 9 is fitted, a bag section 13 and a cylindrical columnar section 14 positioned on the center axis of the compressor. A base 11 is formed therein with a cut-out aperture 15 into which the bag section is inserted, and with a recess 16 in which the cylindrical columnar section 14 of the vibration rubber insulator 10 is fitted. The bag section 13 may insulate large swings and the cylindrical columnar section 14 may insulate the rotational vibration of the running compressor. Further the cylindrical columnar member 14 also serves as the shaft of the compressor, which allows the spring constant of the rubber insulator 10 to be decreased even through its height is low.
