Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve unraveling property and uniform unraveling tension, by ejecting fluid to a ballooning portion so that unraveling ballooning is increased during unraveling a thread from a winding bobbin for positively giving unraveling power to the thread. CONSTITUTION:When a thread is unraveled from a winding bobbin 1, a dead weight and an unraveling speed of the thread caused ballooning due to centrifugal force to be produced between the thread and a unraveling guide 8. There are various types of ballooning as shown in (a) and (b) depending upon a position of the guide 8 and a thread winding method. In particular, the ballooning state in (b) has the thread contact the edge of a thread winder, which causes irregular tension and thread cutting. Thus, fluid such as air, water is ejected from the inside to the outside of the ballooning in the unraveling direction and/or the direction normal to the unraveling direction so that a large bellooning is produced. As a result, the thread is prevented from contacting the thread winder and an unraveling power is positively increased for improving unraveling property and uniforming unraveling tension.

At this time, the unwinding tension can be adjusted by: a) making the position of the unwinding guide installed in front of the take-up bobbin freely adjustable and adjusting it according to the yarn speed; or b) using a conical method with respect to the unwinding guide. Those using a stand with a spindle arranged, etc. are known, and each is in practical use.

f) Problems to be Solved by the Invention) Unwinding performance in which the position of the unwinding guide in a) above is freely adjustable, ballooning due to yarn speed is observed, and the position of the unwinding guide is adjusted according to the size of the ballooning. The improvement method does not actively assist in unwinding the yarn, nor does it reduce the variation in unwinding tension caused by the unwinding position (unwinding position).

In addition, the above b) method in which the spindles are arranged in a conical shape with respect to the unwinding guide also allows for perfect centering with respect to the unwinding guide, continuous unwinding of yarn from multiple bobbins, and operation. Although the aim was to improve efficiency, it did not actively improve unwinding performance.

The present invention solves the problem of ballooning by injecting fluid such as air or water from the inside of the balloon to the outside of the balloon in the unwinding direction of the yarn and/or in the direction orthogonal to the balloon. This system actively prevents the ballooning from coming into contact with the end surface of the winding body, and actively applies unwinding force to improve unwinding performance and equalize the unwinding tension.

Example Using a winding bobbin wound with a 75-denier polyester yarn and a 36-filament yarn, the polyester yarn was unwound at a speed of 1000 m/min and a compressed air of 2 kq/cm2 was applied to the yarn using the apparatus shown in FIG. A comparative experiment was conducted between the method of the present invention in which compressed air was injected in the unwinding direction, and the conventional method in which compressed air was not injected. Note that a winding bobbin with a winding width of 210 mm was used.
