[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] This invention provides a down comforter in which a gusseted cloth is interposed between the outer material and the lining material, and each space partitioned by the gusseted material is filled with a certain amount of down. Regarding the manufacturing method.

In this down comforter, firstly, in the past, Fig. 2' (
As shown in a), like cotton and synthetic cotton futons, the outer material 1 and the lining material 2 form a bag-shaped futon wall A.
After filling this A with feathers P, as shown in Figure (C), to prevent the feathers P from shifting and to form a pattern,
As shown in Figure 2, a method of quilting was devised.

However, this method has the problem that the sewing machine needle penetrates the fabric and the feather during sewing, and the feather blows out from the through hole of the sewing machine needle. Additionally, because the front and back fabrics are directly sewn together, the futon becomes thinner and lacks a luxurious feel.

Therefore, it was described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 56-1094, and the third
As shown in Figure (a), three-dimensional horizontal gusset fabrics 3 are provided at appropriate intervals between the outer fabric 1 and the lining 2 of the futon, and vertical gusset fabrics 4 perpendicular to the horizontal gusset fabrics 3 are provided at equal intervals between the horizontal gusset fabrics 3, In addition, the upper and lower ends of the vertical and horizontal gusset fabrics 3 and 4 are sewn to the front and lining fabrics, respectively, without sewing the intersections 5 of both gusset fabrics 3 and 4, and as shown in FIG. A method of manufacturing a down comforter has been devised in which a down stuffing hose 6 is inserted into the gusset to fill a certain amount of down into the partitioned space of the gusset cloth, and the peripheral surface is finished by sewing.

With this method, the sewing machine needle does not penetrate between the feathers, so the feathers do not blow out from the sewing machine needle hole in the fabric, and the gusset fabrics 3 and 4 create a bulge between the front and lining fabrics. It gives the whole thing a sense of bulge and gives it a luxurious feel.

However, since the above method does not stitch the vertical gusset cloth 4 at the intersection 5, the stitch line a is interrupted as shown in FIG. 3(C), which may be unfavorable in terms of design. For example, when sewing zigzag stitches such as scallop, zigzag, and wavy stitches, the intersection 5
The stitch pattern a may lose its sense of continuity on both sides. In particular, when stitching is performed using an automatic sewing machine, alignment at the initial stage of stitching is extremely difficult, which poses a design problem.

In order to achieve the above object, in this invention, one side edge of the horizontal gusset cloth is sewn to the outer material and the lining material of the futon at the same appropriate spacing, and the outer material and the lining material are sewn together. Further, one side edge of the vertical gusset fabric that intersects with the horizontal gusset fabric is sewn to the lining at the same appropriate intervals over the entire length in the longitudinal direction, and at least the outer side of the stitching is sewn with a scallop, zigzag, wave pattern, etc. Make a zigzag stitch, then cut both sides of the vertical seam line of the horizontal gusset fabric at the intersection of both gusset fabrics, overlap the outer fabric and lining fabric with the gusset fabric on the inside, and separate the corresponding horizontal gusset fabrics of the outer fabric and lining fabric. The other side edges and the other side edges of both vertical gusset fabrics are sewn together, and the outer fabric and lining are sewn together leaving a feather stuffing opening, and the feather stuffing hose is passed from the feather stuffing opening to the cut part of the horizontal gusset fabric. A certain amount of feathers is inserted into each space partitioned by horizontal and vertical gusseted cloth, and then the feather stuffing opening is closed.

First, as shown in 1i, the tension frame 1 of the automatic sewing machine 4 is
0, the outer material 11 is stretched with birken, and on the back side of this outer material 11, one side edge of the horizontal gusset cloth 13 covering the entire length in the horizontal direction is sewn with a zigzag stitch at appropriate intervals. Vertical gusset cloth 14 spanning the entire length is transformed into horizontal gusset cloth 1
3 and sew them together using zigzag stitches at appropriate intervals. For the suture line a, various zigzag stitches such as scallop stitches and waveform stitches are appropriately selected in addition to zigzag stitches. During this suturing,
When an NC-controlled automatic sewing machine is used, if a thread breaks during stitching, the position of the thread can be easily and accurately set again, making it easy to maintain the continuity of the zigzag pattern.

On the back side of the lining 12, one side edges of the horizontal and vertical gusset fabrics 13 and 14 are similarly sewn at the same intervals as the intervals between the gusset fabrics 13 and 14 of the outer fabric 11, and the intersections 15 are cut. The sewing of the gusset cloth 13 and 14 to the lining 12 does not necessarily have to be done in a zigzag manner.

After sewing the gusset cloths 13.14 to the outer material 11 and the lining material 12, as shown in FIG. A space 17 partitioned by cloths 13 and 14 is formed. This stitching is performed for each side of each space 17. Furthermore, the circumferential edges of the front and lining materials 11 and 12 are sewn together leaving the feather stuffing opening to form the futon gauze A.
