PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic dial device where setting of two numbers for a private branch of exchange and external line direct connection is not required by providing a storage number selection switch section, a number storage section, an external line call detection section, an external line call number suppressing section and an external call selection switch to an automatic dial device for an extension of a private branch of exchange. CONSTITUTION:A storage number signal 60 (e.g., 00423 64 1111) is outputted from a number storage section 52 by the depression of a storage number selection switch 53. When the external line call selection switch 55 is set to the external line direct position, the switch 55 turns off a command signal 61 regardless of the state of the signal 71 and activates the external line call detection section.
