Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the title device from accidents such as the collision and breakage of a mirror due to mistiming by moving an optical path switching reflecting mirror to the outside of the optical path while making said movement interlocking with the movement of a picture scanning reflecting mirror at the time of switching to a printer mode. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd and 3rd reflecting mirrors 14, 15 for picture scanning are fixed on a movable supporting plate 25 so that respective reflecting surfaces form 45 deg. angle and are arranged to be driven in the arrow direction by a wire. At the time of switching to the printer mode, the reflecting mirrors 14, 15 are moved in the obliquely upper direction from the arrow direction and the optical path switching movable relecting mirror 12 is moved to the outside of the opti cal path in the counterclockwise direction by a cam surface 25A. Then, the mirrors 14, 15 are moved in the reverse direction from exposure starting positions shown by the broken lines and the optical image of the reflecting mirror 11 is exposed and scanned on the drum 21. Consequently, the device can be prevented from accidents such as the collision and breakage of the mirror due to mistiming.

Conventionally, in this type of projection device, part of the reader optical path for projecting an image on a microfilm or the like onto a screen and the printer optical path for projecting that image onto a photoconductor have been used, and the reader state In order to switch between the state and the printer state, there is a method of switching between the two by installing a switching mirror on a common optical path and rotating this mirror to move it in and out of the optical path. However, it requires a driving device to rotate the mirror, and the structure is complicated, large, and expensive.

In addition, two scanning mirrors are arranged in the printer optical path, and the scanning mirrors sequentially reflect a portion of the imaging light flux to form an image of the slit-shaped portion of the image on the photosensitive medium of the exposure section. It is known that some printers use an exposure method that performs slit exposure of the photosensitive medium by moving a scanning mirror in a predetermined direction while passing the photosensitive medium through an exposure section at a constant speed. If the scanning mirror goes out of control when in the leader state, or if the timing between the scanning mirror's movement and the switching mirror's rotation is misaligned, the mirrors will collide with each other, damaging the mirror or damaging the device. There were drawbacks.

When the print button is turned on, the movable support plate 25 moves from the solid line position to the dashed line position, and as a result, the second and third reflecting mirrors 14.15 move diagonally upward together and engage with the movable support plate 25. The matching movable reflecting mirror 12 is lifted by the movement of the movable support plate 25 and rotated counterclockwise. When the second and third reflecting mirrors 14, 15 reach the exposure start positions indicated by broken lines, the movable support plate 25 stops moving, and the movable reflecting mirrors 12 are placed outside the projection optical path indicated by broken lines. Next, the movable support plate 25 moves in the opposite direction, thereby causing the second and third reflecting mirrors 14, 15 to move obliquely downward, and the movable reflecting mirror 12 to rotate clockwise. While the second and third reflecting mirrors 14 and 15 are moving from the dashed line position to the solid line position, the image on the microfilm is exposed and scanned onto the photosensitive drum 21, and when the solid line position is reached, the exposure operation ends. The movable reflector 12 returns to the solid line position and returns to the leader state.

- The movable support plate 25 is in the leader state due to the configuration described above.
Even if the movable reflecting mirror 12 is moved by mistake, the movable reflecting mirror 12 rotates with the movement of the movable support plate, so there is no possibility that the reflecting mirrors will collide with each other and be damaged. Further, since there is no need to provide a special drive mechanism for rotating the movable reflecting mirror, the structure of the device is simplified.

On the other hand, in the printer state, when the print button is turned on, the movable support plate 25 moves in the direction A, and the movable support plate 25 moves in the direction A.
When the cam surface 25A of No. 5 comes into contact with the back surface of the movable reflecting mirror 12, the movable reflecting mirror 12 rotates clockwise as the movable support plate 25 moves, and then when it comes into contact with the back surface of the fourth reflecting mirror 30, the movable reflecting mirror 12 rotates clockwise. As the support plate 25 moves, the fourth reflecting mirror 30 rotates in the direction of the hour hand, and when the second and third reflecting mirrors 14.15 are placed at the exposure start position, the movement of the movable supporting plate 25 stops and the fourth reflecting mirror 30 rotates in the direction of the hour hand. The situation shown in the figure is reached, with the reflector 12.30 placed outside the image projection optical path. Next, the movable support plate 25 moves in direction B opposite to direction A.
The image light that moves in the direction and passes through the imaging lens 6 is sequentially reflected by the second and third reflecting mirrors 14 and 15, and then reflected by the fifth reflecting mirror 3.
1 and is projected onto the photosensitive drum 21. As the movable support plate 25 moves in the B direction, the reflecting mirror 12, 304-1
: It rotates counterclockwise in the IT direction by its own weight or a spring, returns to the position of the afterlight after the image exposure to the photosensitive drum is completed, and is placed in the projection optical path. Reference numerals 35 and 36 denote stoppers that position the reflecting mirrors 12 and 30 at predetermined positions within the optical path, and this stopper restricts the rotation of the reflecting mirrors in the counterclockwise direction.
