O Concerning an Arc Extinguishing Device Suitable for Improving Insulating Performance [Background of the Invention] As circuit free IT fins become smaller and the number of isolation chambers increases, maintenance of insulation performance and arc extinguishing performance as mentioned above has become a concern. Conventionally, regarding insulation performance, in the arc extinguishing chamber shape as shown in FIG. 13, as shown in FIG. The upper part of grid 2 prevents arc gas from adhering to the circuit breaker's mechanical parts, but no consideration was given to the deterioration of insulation performance from the sides of the arc extinguishing chamber. In this case, the cooling plate 7 shown in Fig. 15 is positioned as shown in Fig. 16 to cool the arc gas, lower the temperature and pressure inside the arc extinguishing chamber, and extinguish the arc. As shown in the figure, in the conventional cooling plate 7, there is a gap at the top and bottom, and arc gas passes through the gap, making it impossible to cool the cooling plate effectively. Also, Figures 13 and 15
In the case shown in the figure, which is equipped with an arc plate, the arc generated when the contact is opened is extended to the tip of the arc plate. Therefore, in the conventional arc extinguishing chamber, the exhausted arc gas is passed through the terminal screw to prevent short circuits between the phases. This point is not considered in the conventional example.

In an arc extinguishing device comprising a U-shaped tear ion grid and a substantially U-shaped fixing member for fixing the tear ion grid, the center side of the U-shape of the fixing member is the middle part of the fixing member. An exhaust hole is pressed upward from above, and an arc gas shielding member is fixed to the lower blade of the exhaust hole so as to be in close contact with the center side of the U-shape. Embodiment of the Invention] An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 42.

It consists of i number of tear ion grids 2, a separator 3 located on the terminal side of a fixed frame 1 which is a fixed member formed in a U-shape and forms the center side of the U-shape, and a cooling plate 9 which is an arc gas shielding means. In a zero-circuit breaker, which is a cross-sectional view of an arc chute, when a short-circuit current flows, the movable contact and the fixed contact are separated from the contact state, but an arc is generated between these two contacts. As shown by arrow A in FIG. 1, this arc gas passes between the tear ion grids 2, passes through the exhaust holes 31 of the separator 3, and is discharged to the outside. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, there is no gap between the rear end of the tear ion grid 2 and the separator 3 so that the arc gas can pass through and be discharged to the outside.
A cooling plate 9 is provided as an arc gas shielding member. This cooling plate 9 has a shape as shown in FIG.
1°92, which are inserted into the notches 14 and 15 of the side plate 1 shown in FIG.
It is pressed and fixed. At this time, the protrusion 92 of the cooling plate 9
In FIG. 3, the shape between the bent portion 92 and the bent portion 93 is pressed from the shape of the dotted line indicating the reaction force release state to the shape of the solid line, so that the shape is The arc chute r (fixed) receives the force shown by the arrow BIC and is firmly fixed by its elastic force.Thereby, the arc gas at the time of short circuit interruption passes through the cooling plate 9 without leaking, is cooled, and the arc The arc is immediately extinguished and discharged from the exhaust hole 31 of the separator 3. Furthermore, the upper part 94 and inner part 95 of the cooling plate 9 are not exposed to arc gas, so that insulation resistance can be maintained. Overall, the amount of scum is cooled and reduced, the temperature is low, and the speed at which scum is discharged from the exhaust hole 31 is also slow.

図、第5図に示す。Since the discharge range is narrow, there are problems during discharge, such as phase-to-phase short circuits,
It is possible to prevent damage to terminals and damage to other equipment and panels when attached to a switchboard, etc.In addition, the cooling plate 9 can be fixed by simply inserting it from the top of the arc chute, which is different from the conventional method. There is no need to take the trouble of spreading out the side plates and pushing them in, which makes the work easier. The second embodiment of the present invention is described in the fourth embodiment.
As shown in Fig. 5.

冷却効果をより上けることができる。In this embodiment, tear ion grids 22 and 23 as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 are used to cool the arc gas without using a cooling plate. 1, the tear ion grid 23 is installed so as to be in close contact with the separator 3 and functions as an arc gas shielding means, whereby the arc horn 1
Since the arc drawn by 8 and the arc gas can be cooled down to the original metal, damage to the terminals due to the arc and arc gas can be prevented. The sixth embodiment of the present invention is the first embodiment.
Shown in Figure 1. This embodiment uses cooling plates 24 and 25, which are arc gas shielding means, to create a large nitrogen gap. According to non-implemented examples, not only did the area of the cooling plate increase;
Figure 12 shows an example of the 7th disaster of Meiji Okito, where the cooling effect can be increased by creating a cooling system. This embodiment is obtained by adding a cooling plate 7 shown in FIG. 15 to the arc extinguishing device of the sixth embodiment. According to this embodiment, the cooling effect can be further improved.
